What's for dinner Pt5
that looks good!
find out tomorrow!!!!
if that where here there would be finger swipes to deal with - do you have extra frosting?
yes.. the extra frosting goes on the two micro slabs that got cut off to make them level.. stops him from finger swiping ... LOL
I stuck it with cherry liquor too
Looks very good Allison, I was gonna' ask if you got it drunk! LOL Ric
yes yes... just had to.. I always have kirsh for my cherry berry pies.. getting an ice cream cake for those under 21
:)
Might be interesting to see what you put in your brownies:-} LOL. Ric
Large meat lovers pan pizza tonight, curse Pizza Hut for that $10 special. I know it's not a pie like I got in Jersey, but it's a meal.
aaaaahhhhhh Pizza Hut... my eyes are burning
Ah ha ha! Ric.
ALLISON!!! OMG, I want to eat that whole cake. I'll be right over. I don't care about the snow!
come on down Harper!!!.. going to have too much food anyway
It's a beauty of a cake! Worked at a funeral reception at church today, & sampled some of the goodies---now , my DH is asking for dinner, but I'm not hungry.
the cake tasted as good as it looked... thank you Ric!!
Made homemade chicken & rice soup for Brian last night too, he's a got a cold also.
I've been fighting swollen glands and an ear ache for a few days, finally a bit better today.
Made seasoned cornish game hens, fresh stringbeans, twice- baked loaded potaotes, sauteed spanish onions and a loaf of french bread last night.
No dessert...no one has an appetite!!
Mmmmm, Celeste!
I'm making chicken soup or stew tonight. (fingers crossed) I'm not sick, though.
Ugh - feel better, all! I felt one coming on a few days ago and gargling did the trick again! It's really amazing.
Tonights dinner: Chicken soup with rice/ barley/pearl wheat (I ran out of wild rice - hopefully the brats won't notice)
Have to stretch the dollar until payday and soup goes a long way...
:)
Curry turkey - wife is cooking (if she ever wakes up!) Yes - soup is always a saver!
DH cooking steak tonight.
Dinner at Midnight?
Pot roast, mashed taters & gravy, carrots, & 3 bean salad---raisin walnut bars for dessert. The chicken soups sounded good---guess I'll make some tomorrow---hope it works for those of you under the weather.
I LOVE pot roast!
I'm sure. He's downstairs playing bass right now. He might get started at 8, which means dinner at 11. Don't ask me how.

No comment! Hmmm...
We just finished dinner. It was ready around 10:20. Now I'm ready for bed. At least I didn't have to cook!

That chocolate cake looks delicious! My step son would love that he always asks for an all chocolate cake with maraschino cherries on top.
The pot roast was delicious, I have enough to make hot open faced sandwiches for tonight, along with leftover bean salad---everything else I sent home with Mom & my sister. Am heading off to meet my cousins for lunch.
Ziti tonight
