Randy likes ketchup .. I like brown gravy on meatloaf... but sometimes use BBQ sauce and both of us like that

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

I like meatloaf every now and then, but DW disagrees... anyway, I used to use tomato sauce in mine...

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

"My bologna has a first name..."

I need help. Last night I cooked a roast chicken, but by the time I was finished, everyone was in bed. I want to serve it tonight. How do I heat it up? It's been in the fridge since this morning. Should I cut it up and heat it in a double boiler, the way I do most leftovers, or can I stick the whole thing in the oven? I'm feeling lazy.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Either way shoud be fine.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i like cold chicken

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Cold fried chicken is great.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Cold chicken wins. Thanks!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

think of the saved energy!!

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

I was picking it apart and since I had to heat up the sweet potatoes that were in the bottom of the roasting pan (because they were all gelatinous), I figured, what the heck, I tossed the chicken in the double boiler. ...sigh...

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I love cold fried chicken.. Randy looks at me like I have 3 heads

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

cold or warm - i'd eat it

Thomaston, CT

Like chicken any which way, but tonight it's pork chops, coleslaw, roasted carrots & parsnips----no dessert! HayHay's ice cream birthday cake will be with me the rest of the week!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

cooking a chicken for tonight - one of those perdue in a bag deals

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Love those....have you tried the Cornish Hens they have in the bag now Bill?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

You just put the bag in the oven??

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Ham soup to chase away the nasty damp weather.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Don't know yet, hubby is still sick. Intestinal thing. Hoping the rest of us don't get it.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

yes Victor, when i'm in a pinch, I use these. You take it out of the outside bad, inside there is another cooking bag w/a seasoned chicken all ready to go. You place the bag on a pan, pierce the top with a small slit and bake in the lower half of oven for 90 minutes. Taste just like a store bought rotissiere one. Very moist and juicy!

Hi- what a bunch of good dinners!
Salmon cakes made with Zatarains Salmon cake mix, (but I use half a box per can of salmon instead of the whole box)and Zatarains Chicken rice mix, and french style green beans just simmered butter and salt. Pretty good but I think I'd rather had jen's dinner. Hope Mr Jen was feeling up to eating it!
Just got done working our way through two store rotisseire chickens from Friday. boy they are good, and that store sells them 5 bucks each on Fridays. As is first night, used in Chicken broccoli lasagne another night and can have soup tomorrow with the broth from all those bones..

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'll take Mr. Jen's portion if he's not up to it!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)
