Roast Pork Shoulder tonight, still haven't decided on the accompaniments...
Had one of the best salads I ever tasted in a restaurant in Rockefeller Center which had diced raw squash in it, along with anchovies & capers and a whole bunch of other stuff - marvelous summer salad!
What's for dinner Pt5

LOL thanks for the heads up.
I was thinking of adding more stock before I heated it up next time.. worth a shot
Sounds like a plan!
Took Mom to the Chinese buffet for lunch, so dinner for me is a stuffed artichoke.
Randy went and picked up Charlie Browns for us
Kingfish steak, french fries & watercress salad
You may not believe this but you have to try the Lightning McQueen spaghetti o's they taste way better than the regular meatball ones! Lol I always end up eating some when I make them for the kids. : )
We had Papa Gino's pizza tonight. : )
chinese take out tonight. Kids had pizza.
I was bad and just had nachos and guacamole, son had chicken nuggets and carrots, daughter had spaghetti and carrots, hubby had beer battered fish, steak fries with malt vinegar...Phew, stinky!!!!
Ha ha sounds yummy at least! : )
Please add chocolate chip cookies flown in from Zurich this am to the above menu, w/ a scoop of vanilla ice cream. ☺
Glad to add them here! Gosh, Jen, you did a lot of cooking! Have no idea what we're having tonight...I'm guessing beef-vegetable soup with Italian bread. Cold temps bring out the soup in me.
soup & chili... I am trying to decide if I am making another batch of chicken soup or not... only one container left in the freezer.. hate that
5 bean chili casserole tonight. We're going to or son's for cards and taking supper along. I like to put chili in a deep dish with a layer of Mexican blend cheese and top it off with corn bread. Ric
Pizza night tonight! Yipee!! ☺!
Pizza here too since I'll be doing a lot of cooking tomorrow
Anyone ever do a ribeye roast???
Only done the steaks here...
Yes, I have, with the bones...I used to do one for Christmas every year, but now we go out.
I usually put a nice rub on the Ribeye Roast and cook it in the rotisserie.
Tonight we had seasoned chicken breast cooked on the rotisserie, steamed asparagus, yeast rolls, cranberry, sausage-herb stuffing, twice baked potatoes and snickdoodles for dessert.
Cooking is good for the soul. ^_^

And for the stomach! (lol!) Nice menu Pixie!
Thank you. :)
It's find your own here tonight. DH is too tired to cook and DD and I just got home from barn chores.
delivery from the pizza place.. no pizza though.. Randy wanted to try a buffalo chicken cheese steak they had... boy was it hot.. but good
A good time was had by all! especially Holly she won the cribbage game! LOL
I'm thinking easy tonight. Cube steak, mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, red beets, and a couple of Cackleberries I made Friday for an appetizer.
A short funny story, while I was making my eggs Friday. I decided I'd put too many beets in the bottom of my container to get the eggs well covered with pickling solution, so I reached in and pulled a couple out. After cleaning up for a birthday party later, I was caught "red handed". LOL Ric
Beets do stain! Made lasagna with chicken sausage, ground chicken, & baby bella mushrooms...DH loved it because I didn't tell him what was in it.
Happy St. Patty's Day!!!.... Randy and I are finally having corned beef
:)
Happy St Patty's Day! Weeeee! (lol!)
- Broiled club steaks, Spanish squash steamed in chicken broth, baked potato
You guys started me thinking about squash so when I went to the market I checked them out, they had the reg yellow squash and they had the Zucchini, but they also had the Spanish ones too, so for a 'change of pace'...
☺! (before cooking)
funky looking.. I looked today as well.. nothing nice
They're shorter, VERY sweet & more tender raw than yellow & zucchini. Probably shorter shelf life.. bought them yesterday and ate them today, doubt they would last a week in the veggie compartment of a fridge - more like 3 days, 4 days pushing it under ideal condit...
Wanted a change, usually I would cook broccoli or asparagus, but one gets tired of eating, (lol)
