Just wanted to post, that I deactivated my facebook account, too many virus from there.

The first virus was in my email account, I kept getting messages from facebook, that someone was trying to send an email that had too many images, and it was overloading my email account.
Then I clicked on the page to go to cafeworld, and my anti virus caught a trojan worm, trying to get into my computer, so I said that is enough! NO MORE FACEBOOK!

Whoa, that has not happened to me yikes!!! But I have a real good virus protection too thru Wildblue and I get notices the minute something like that trys to happen

You are right there LK. I don't do games and rarely do apps, and my Yahoo email account was sabotaged! Figured it got to come from FB.
So now I stay away from the apps.

Gonna be running errands today. Beautiful day outside, thank God, even though it's in the 40's. Thankful that it could be worse!

Cindy.. I had 2 virus protection programs which are constantly updated.. somehow the Trojan slipped through.
Those hackers get more sophisticated each time.

I found it here also, scroll down towards the bottom, and they also have the matching print to go with it. Yours is called lotus flowers, and they have the lotus cranes!

Hi Everyone!! I haven't had any problems with FB, I pretty much quit playing the games, too time consuming now that Dave's home!

I'm thinking I will give FB up for quilting..... ^_^
and now that I have geneology that I'm getting back into, I think I have to call "enough!!!!!"

So tired last night that I forgot to make (or eat) dinner.
I'm getting pressured by a couple of church ladies to take the minutes for the board meetings......... I have enough on my plate!!!

I have Dave on my plate! LOL

hey y'all. my system has just gotten back up after being hit by a trojan. I was downloading photos from webshots when my system bogged down, locked up twice, and then died. Randall found the trojan.

so now I'm over a week behind in my reading. and reading is very hard - Randall has this reset for a higher resolution - which, darn it all, I CANNOT read. he'll have to tell me how to change it.

hey Ladies,
many of you know that I'm on online dating sites. Weeeeeeellllllll, I received a flirt from a guy. Then he sent me a message. I can always spot these scammers right from the get go. Some of them are really stupid. Anyhow, before I replied back I checked him out of course, his profile was hidden. That right there told me what he was. I was able to get information about him from his email addy. Well before I replied back I made a bogus email addy and decided to have some fun, lol.

I had this puppy eating out of my hands. He started sending me pictures of himself, but of course they probably weren't really his. And calling me baby and all this other bs. He then sent me his phone #. I went online to a scammer site and sent all of that stuff in. Recevied a notice from them that they are investigating it now. Don't know if it will do any good or not but it was fun playing with him. Then I let him know what I did, then deleted the bogus email addy, hee hee.

Remember when you deactivate FB everyone you are neighbors with in the games will lose you, therefore it will affect them. If you don't want to play games, don't, I don't play the games anymore but keep it active so I can eavesdrop on everyone elses business LOL!!

Well really Cindy, if you're looking for a friend and maybe more why in the world would you have your information set to private? That is stupid!

Bon, you don't have to deactivate FB. I use it to keep in touch with friends and family all over the world. Just kept away from games and apps.
Smart move there Cindy. Why do these idiots think they can get away with ANY crime. Don't they believe in Karma!!

Btw, LK, if only you're close to a quilting store that sells thangles... you could get some 2" thangles. Make sewing your half triangles easier.
