I am, I was invited by Crissy. I went there and did it. Now the thing is to find the forum all the time.

waving hello - not feeling good.
Happy Birthday Judy! think I'me missing a lot of b'days and such here.
gonna try to eat something, see if it stays down.
hey Bon, glad to see you stopped by. Sorry your not feeling well.
IT"S SNOWING !!!! In Texas, no less. Been snowing pretty much all day, and started sticking to the ground early this afternoon... this is so strange. Eve is from Thailand, and she's never seen snow... EVER... so, she just wants to make snowballs, and play in it. School let out early today... and will start late tomorrow.
Decided to paint the center of the cabinet doors RED... to match the living room walls... it's starting to look really good, but taking forever to do. Red is the hardest color to paint... takes many many coats.
Don hates to paint... it's cold so he can't get out to do anything... so he's bored... and he has 6 more days off... ugh. Lord help me.
bj, my suggestion....play farmville...paint a little...play farmville.....repeat.....
or come over here and join the new swap http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1075245/
Cindy until we can access "C" on Google etc. I just keep it on my bookmarks and access it from there...
Just rain here....we are rapidly running out of time for snow here, although there were two years in the past where we got snow in April....
Good grief what is going on over here? Pictures don't show up and my posts are taking forever to load and that is without pictures? Talk to ya else where...
Someone said in another thread.......DG is changing servers so everything is messed up.
Guess I will go play in the "Unmess" for awhile....
Cup of Tea ~
One day my mother was out, and my dad was in charge of me.
I was maybe 2 1/2 years old. Someone had given me a little 'tea set' as a gift, and it was one of my favorite toys.
Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I brought Daddy a little cup of 'tea', which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my Mom came home.
My Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea, because it was 'just the cutest thing!' My Mom waited, and sure enough, here I came down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy; and she watched him drink it up.
Then she said, (as only a mother would know), "'Did it ever occur to you that the only place she can reach to get water is the toilet?"
Judy I'm here sweetheart, just cold at home and busy at work, when I'm able to get to work LOL!!
BJ it is great to see you! Missed you bunches!
More snow is on the way (it's snowing just north of us and just south of us, and just west of us) so I'm going to get off of this, plus Survivor is on and I want to watch it, and get some hot chocolate mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
cindy, thank you sooooo very much for that laugh!!!! that was/ is priceless!!!!
Crissy the pix didn't work. This Survivor is going to be GREAT!!!!!
OH MAN!!! mom is cooking fish and stinking the house up gotta get out a lot of candles. Good thing I make them.^_^
LOL Cindy! Well it loaded it... I'll email it to you right now!
Why is it that some things smell like you know what, but taste so good?
Love the tea story Cindy!
Jaye, hope your doing OK tonight, get lots of rest, and we will see you all in the morning.
LK
WHAT ????? SNOW in Jayeville and Myrtle Beach tomorrow
Happy Birthday Judy!! (phew, it's 10 to midnight, and I ALMOST missed it )
♫♪~§usan~♪♫
Morning everyone!
T.G.I.F.!
Coffee is on, and we have hot cinnamon buns today, with cream cheese icing!
tcinmb, how are you doing? Haven't see you posting too much? what have you been up to?
Jaye hope you got a good nights sleep?
Mornin', here is a touch of spring for those of you stuck in the snow, or with yards full of ugly withered plants.
I discovered this a little while ago, when I took the mutt out for a walk....It has been so cold here, I did not think any of the buds would open, really thought I would not get any flowers this season!!!!.....such a joyous surprise I got this mornin........just had to share ^_^
Hope y'all have a safe warm day!! I am going to spend the day sewing, it is my last day of vacation.
I did not get to do any yard work, too cold and way to wet, butttttt I did get lots of sewing time !!
Morning!!
Enjoy your last day of vacation!
Jaye did you get snow?
I have a goal today, I want my desk completely cleared off when I leave at 5pm today. Of course sitting here isn't getting anything done, so I'm fixing to get motivated...
Thunder, that is so pretty. What is it please?
enjoy your last day of vacation.
Morning Crissy, better get that desk cleared, so you can have a peaceful week-end!
Good morning, falling behind here on news, but want to wish Sistah Judy who celebrates her b'day everyday, a very happy one!
Hope Steve and the kids treat you to something memorable.
LK, Kel says I had a fitful sleep last night. I couldn't even stay up to watch Survivor Villians vs Heroes...you know that's bad!
Tina is right Crissy. We're supposed to have snow for the next few days. I know the gingers had made it through a few years back, but I don't know about the brugs. Guess I have to force myself to get moving and find something to cover them. There are more than 30 in the ground... don't know whether I'll be able to save all of them.
Beautiful picture there Thunder. Don't you just love camellias? They're fuss free plants, and that's the only kind that Kel 'allows' me to grow now.
Btw, mag was mailed yesterday. One of the pages had a scribble, but the other important pages are clean.
Gosh... just up for an hour, and I'm tired...
Stay away from dangerous roads, sistahs.
Jaye, please take care of yourself, and get lots of rest today. Don't worry about the plants, they can be replaced. There is only one Jaye!
Wish I was closer, I would make you some soup, and give you hugs!
Jaye if my 2 brugs make it through this cold winter, along with many other plants, it will be a miracle. I planted the brugs last spring and they grew to about 9 feet tall. When I cut them down I put about a foot of compost on top of them, but Dave has dug out the poles they were planted next to before we got real cold, or at least one pole and it's an open hole, so I don't know. I do have about 80 clippings sitting in water in the garage that are rooting.
Does anyone want a clipping of a Pink Velvet single Brug? Just pay $1.00 plus postage. I'm not going to start mailing them until it warms up a little.
LK, you don't want to give me hugs!!! I haven't taken a shower since 8.00 am yesterday! But I'll take some soup.
Kel just called me from the beach, saying he will fix me ANYTHING I feel like eating. Hmmm.... grilled 12 oz. NY strip, Madeira sauce, steamed fresh asparagus and a piece of butter pecan cake. Think he'll detour if I told him that? Lol!!
No appetite.. got some bananas and Chinese pears that I'll sink my teeth into.
All my outside brugs were mulched at least 6" Crissy. The cuttings did not make it, except for NOL. They're tough!
Seriously, like I've told LK... I'm not getting into anymore brugs this year, unless it's that elusive one that Alice has!!
beautiful pic, Thunder!! siiiiiiiiiiiiiigh, now I'm drooling!!
Jaye - take care of yourself hon! I'll try to call you tonight.
Ladies - Jaye may not be growing Brugs anymore, but it's my 1st year - I have some rooted in water and some in soil - sent to me from New Brunswick. I want to see what they're like!
I've grown daturas, but never Brugs...... same family of plants though......
Oh Jaye, do I need to come take care of you? NO, wait thank you we are to have some of that "white stuff" also.
LK that is a Pink Perfection Camellia. Aren't they wonderful? I left one at my old house that must have been 8 feet tall and was loaded with buds. Have one here but it has some growing to do. We planted the one in Gaineville when our first granddaughter was born as we thought she was a pink perfection.
Tina!!! I thought we had lost you. Been missing you lady--check in more often. How are you doing?
BJ, if we were experiencing the same weather pattern I wouldn't have believed you. Just saw some pictures on the internet of Plano, TX and thought about PlanoLinda!! Yikes at the snow there. Now as to what to do with Don? Good question and I hope you find the answer soon. Stay warm. The tempertaurer on my deck is reading 34 and I guess that will be our high. They are saying this rain could turn into snow later today. Just plain weird weather!!!!
Synda, please don't get down--we need you here with us--not down in the dumps or snow as it may be.
Later ......................
You know what, I think I answered my own question. They are different. The other one is much prettier than mine.
Wish I knew you were painting red, BJ. I found if you use a base coat of light grey before you paint red you get better coverage and it looks more like the red you saw on the can. Red over white can take over a different color sometimes.
That way ytou can usually get by with one coat of red.
Cindy, I am no expert but do recognize that particular plant. The picture above looks like the formation but the color makes me wonder. Post on some of the gardening threads. Thunder's however is a definite.
Oh that is Beautiful Thunder!
Thank you all for Birthday greetings
I smiled at all the notes from each of you.
It was a wonderful day. The Celebration started at the strike of midnight, lol...Julia gets home late, so Waited up for her and Anthony.
He built a beautiful fire for me, and we visited for a while. I then got to sleep late! I went to lunch with My friend Helen. She and I have gone to lunch every year for our Birthdays. Her's is next week. We got to chatting about Molds, she creates beautiful ceramic pieces. So decided to go to Michals! It being Thursday and the New Survivor was taping. Steve and Sabrina busied themselves in the kitchen.
Steve made a wonderful Trout Dinner and Breenie made Birthday brownies!
Just as we were sitting down Julia and Anthony returned home from work early, was a great unexpected surprise.
After we all sat down to watch Survivor, OH MY GOSH!! What a great show, love it love it. Then had Brownies...
Many Armwraps were received throughout the day. I got phone calls too, and cards have been coming everyday!
During the Day, I pieced together my first "real" quilting square, lol not just a square but one with a name...This is a Honee Bee!
Cindy, That was the funniest story about the water! While I was reading and laughing, it brought back a memory.
Only I WAS the recipient of the water!!
Jaye, I hope you are feeling Better today. Are you taking it easy again today.
And Bon, I hope your feeling alot better too...you been sick too long.
sending you both armwraps........
