Yes ma'am, they don't like me! I have tried them in various places in the yard.
dstar.. Ive got you down for althea.. not a problem! Ill take cuttings tomorrow and hope I get them going for you.. if they dont do well Ill cut you some fresh and bring it in water to you
Ive got some greek oregeno if any one wants some.. has a bit more zing than the regular and its a nice low creeper ..I might have some anise too... the foilage on it is just beautiful..light and lacy looking
I read on another thread that trish loves coneflower and would like some for their new place.. so if anyone has any to spare that would be a nice gift for them..
I gave up on coneflowers. They always look ratty for me.
I started white swan, rose queen and magus from seed this year and right now they are really tiny...lol.. Ive got a few going but they are too small to give as a gift.. I love the look of them and Im trying to to get them going in my beds.. We shall see..
Blkraven - thanks for the althea.
Ceejay - darn, you just keep posting things I really love and need! If you have any guara left, I'd love one! I had the siskyou pink but it didn't survive the winter.
I wish I had more to offer this year!
Deb
I gotta tell you how surprised I was to see that gaura! Putting your name down...
ceejaytown; thanks for the offer - I'd love to try a mock orange. Jan
Sandy and Annette, I got you down, but cross your fingers. Neither one has shown signs of life and I have only been able to get the bananas up after a hard rain.
I am also waiting for the hibiscus to show signs of life. Does anyone else have buds on their hibiscus plants right now?
Not me Tabitha... I do know one has green near the base where I scratched it.. Lots of leaves coming on the Hydrangeas though
I think my hibiscus are goners. Those are the tropical varieties.
Jan - Giving you a mock orange...
My firespike is coming back. I may have some to trade. We'll see.
Carolyn.. I had a few that were called the Mallows... but I think they must have been the tropicals, cause they are deader that a wedge! I won't buy anymore of those for sure. I want more perennials.. things that don't break my back over and over..LOL
I have some Chameleon Plant if anyone wants some.

ilovejesus99 - Sandi, I've got you on the list. You'll love how green and pretty the foliage is!
I also added "little Kate" ruellia to my "haves" list - It's the smaller kind, not the 2-3 feet one!
Deb
Deb.. if you have any more yarrow could I get 1?? Thanks.. please see if there's something I can bring you
ilovejesus99, I have you down for the chameleon plant and gingers.
The more I am able to work in the yard, the more I keep finding.
Blkraven2, I have a variegated dwarf umbrella plant, it's actually a sedge, I think. Would you like to have some of that???
Annette.. after reading about the chameleon plant .. makes me wonder.. but I do love it! Is it invasive for you?? If not ,please put me down for a couple and find something we can trade for on my list!!
Yes, Becky, it is, but I didn't know you could grow it in a pot. Let me know.
is it the kind for a water /bog area if so Id love some...Im not looking for a dwarf Schefflera arboricola
Annette.. Thanks, but I think I'd still like one... they are sooo pretty... maybe putting it in dryer partial shade would help it not to be so aggressive or invasive? It's so pretty I think I'll take a chance!! Thanks!!
Beck, is there anything I can trade you for some more of the cleaning pads like you shared with me when you were here? I wore 'em out, but they are quite awesome. If I knew where to buy them, I'd order some. Any clue?
Charlene
P. S. We planted four different kinds of blueberries and we added some thornless blackberries also. Let me know how the raspberries work out, because I want to try them next year.
Charlene.. shhhhh...LOL.. Timmy gets them from work.... but I'll bring you some... in fact I need to remember to tell him to bring me more. They are priceless aren't they?? LOL.. that wasn't meaning you owe me anything..LOL. Ella .. starlight said the raspberries probably won't do well since we are almost in zone 9.. but I'll let you know.Hope the blueberries do well for you.. they should!
Sylvia.. can I please get some of the white daffs and a maybe a fern from you.. please mam?? Thanks!!
Beck5711, got you down for chameleon plant.
blkraven2, It looks just like papyrus, only variegated and about a foot tall.
Thanks Annette!
annette Ill take some if you dont mind.. Im getting a bog/water garden area started and that will work
thanks
Becky - I'll be happy to bring you some of the yarrow! It's so pretty and lush this year. If you have another Rhapsody brug I'd love it! (if not, pretty much any brug - I had a couple of great noids from a member of Dave's and both died over the winter!)
Deb
Deb.. Thanks, and I sure can bring you a Rhapsody! It is a fav of mine and evidently pretty hardy, as I had more cuttings from her make it when the breaker tripped in the GH!! I'd say she'd do great in ground for you!
Becky
