Blkraven - of course that's OK!

Charlene - if you have some more mushroom compost....that would be great! I'll tag some copper lilies and a Yellow Passionflower
for you. I also have some double flowered oleander cuttings for you.....I think I 1st told you about them last spring,...when I took the cuttings...
but I only had about 40-50% of them take (I didn't baby the cuttings - survive or die) probably the heat of summer kept the percentage down.
Anyway,...I'll be bringin' you some of those too! Lee

New Waverly, TX(Zone 8b)

dgal, I will find some ginger roots for you. I'm not sure which ones yet, but I know where they live!

New Waverly, TX(Zone 8b)

I have added a couple of "The Fairy" roses, they will be small, plus I am trying to root some cuttings for it. And also some Muscari, a small purple flowered bulb. I hope we have a few more days of this weather, maybe I will be able to dig up a bunch to trade. I might have another rose, "Nearly Wild". I should have at least some cuttings.

Edited to change Muscari into Triplet Lilies. I am quite the magician! Especially since I found the tag I buried with them! haha

If anyone has not designated a page for your trades summaries, please do so; I will place a link for it at the top of the thread...
Then continue to edit that page as you give and receive. It makes it much easier to see what's going on.

New Waverly, TX(Zone 8b)

blkraven2, EE casting would be great! (Now I hope they show up! At least a little bit!) I know exactly where four varieties are, but the other five like to hide out til the last minute.

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

IloveJesus - got you down for epi plants!

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 9a)

I'm throwing some ajuga (bronze) http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/145837/ into the trades.

And DH potted up 7 little elderberries Saturday which are still looking good. Cross fingers.

Also Phlox pilosa http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/2907/

Still looking....

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

I'm sure that you will know how dumb I am after asking this: What is an epi?

Is this an elderberry? How can you tell the poison ones from the non-poison ones?

Ceejay, have you eaten yours? If they are not poison, I would love to have one. It is possible that I may have some, but I am afraid to try eating them until I know for certain that they are okay.

I would love to have some of the phlox also. I hope I have something that you would like in trade. How about some mushroom compost? It seems that when I have nothing else to trade, it is a favorite offering amongs those who have used it.

No, I've never eaten the berries. I leave the fruit for the birds. I think this is the one I have: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/957/ I got it from someone at a RU - a native plant. Maybe Frostweed.

Here's mine.

Charlene, I think what you have is False Queen Anne's Lace, Ammi majus,
http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/258668/

but it could also be Poison Hemlock
http://www.ppws.vt.edu/scott/weed_id/coima.htm
Can we see a picture of the leaves?

What Ceejay has is Elderberry, and the berries are only edible when cooked, but they make great jam.

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

I don't have a photo of the leaves. I took this pic last summer. I showed it to you at the time I took it and you were not sure of it at that time. I'll try for a good shot of the leaves this year.

Ceejay, may I have an elderberry please?

Charlene

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

I have some that make the berries like the one here. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/34933/ Do the two that you suggested make berries Jos?

Charlene

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

No they don't make berries, only seeds.
After looking at your picture again I think you have Ammi majus look at the leaves on this picture, the leaves look like the ones on your plant.
http://species.wikimedia.org/wiki/Ammi_majus

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

I think you are right Josephine. Now, this summer, I'll have to identify the ones with berries.

Meanwhile, I would appreciate one of your elderberries ceejay. LMK what I can bring you.

Charlene
