I wish there were more people around that spoke their hearts, and were able to apply plain old common sense. Davy Crockett was quite a smart man. I enjoyed reading his quotes.

I've decided that the list of oxymorons that includes things like "jumbo shrimp" and "clean dirt" needs to be "common sense". It certainly doesn't seem all that 'common' anymore.....at least in D.C.

I just finished the book The Lovely Bones. (about a murdered girl told 1st person)Near the end of the book, she is explaining what happens to families...

I found a new way to kill fruit flies in the kitchen! Place two partially drunk glasses of orange juice on counter, leave for a couple of days. The fruit flies fly into the glasses of partially drunk OJ and drown. No more fruit flies.
