Coffee Break #31 - Super Bowl Edition

Aged, is it just because Victor's a guy???? I think I'm on here WAY more than him.

Fredericton N B, Canada(Zone 4a)

My my aren't we touchie

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I don't think he is touchy ... it really is none of your business .. and why do you care so much to keep asking?.. there are so many ways to keep active on here computers, cell phones and what not.. so either you either enjoy ticking him off when you keep at it... or just jealous that he can be such an active poster.. not sure what your interest is by asking over and over again.. but I really hate to see anyone fighting or getting mad over such trivial nonsense ... and if that is your goal I really wish you would stop.. life is too short... we have lost so many nice people in this forum because of things like this... I would hate to see it happen again

South Hamilton, MA

I agree. What is the reason that you keep asking? We enjoy this site & hate having people try & spoil it. I am aged as well, but had learned manners in my youth.

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

Imagine living with that guy or being his children? He probably is a bachelor anyway, who would want him with his repeated badgering.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

I agree with onewish, IrisMA and Maria, Aged. Learn some manners.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

anybody use deck rail planters?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I have hangers to hang them on the deck rail... none of the over the rail ones

South Hamilton, MA

Our deck, known as the back porch, as it is not really a deck, is in too shady a location for that type of planting. Likes to catch leaves, though.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks, all. I appreciate it. Hopefully we don't have to waste time on it anymore.

Nice left turn, Deb! ^_^

South Hamilton, MA

Right turn here--how to you turn your smiley face yellow?

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

My smiley face is a little green today after too much Polish beer last night.

South Hamilton, MA

Still more colorful than black & white.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Mine has a headache after lots of wine last night. And not a good night's sleep.

South Hamilton, MA

Smiley fine, but computer operater here is tired.

My wife spotted the kid in church this morning. He was lighting a candle!! She stayed with him until his grandparents came over. They apologized (after the kid denied it of course - no problem lying in church!) and said they would tell his father. Seems like he lives with the grandparents.

South Hamilton, MA

Hard for elders to keep an eye on modern children. but if they know about his antics, might be able to control in time. Or maybe the family situation is so tangled that he has to take it out on somebody.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Hopefully the grandparents will take care of it.

Victor, you should just explain to Aged that there's not much to do in a 4X4 cell except whittling yourself a shiv.

I wanted to use those deck planters but seems the railing on my deck is a weird size and I'm afraid they won't work.

Very hard to find sledding hills around here. If there is a hill it's on private property and probably not a good idea to go sledding at the Vet cemetary.
So after driving around a little, (roads weren't that bad) we found a small public park with hiking trails and a small hill, not big enough for me and hubby but made my son happy

I hear you about the lack of hills, Jen. Sooooo, instead of a snow cave to beat all snow caves, Jeff and Taylor made a sledding hill. Today it's about 4 ' high. Big enough for the kiddies 2, 3, 5.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

There ya go, that's an idea.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

snow fun... is good fun

South Hamilton, MA

Celtics just ruined the day by collapsing in the 3rd quarter & blowing the game. I can read during SB & pay attention every once in a while.

What idiots those IB guys are.

Jen, I love that shot of your son in the snow. Glad to see you and Weeze checking in. How much did you get?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

about 18"

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Fun!! Well, after all the shoveling is done.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Ya, and that's why hubby has a snow blower, we only have to shovel the front stoop.

I haven't had any feed out this winter... but I haven't seen or heard about him.. I was thinking since the pole is already wrecked maybe putting a cheap test feeder out.. and see if he is still around

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Great bird shots! I too love the little Titmouse!!!
