Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

;)

Thomaston, CT

Thanks for the birthday wishes----Mom stills lives by herself, does some cooking & cleaning, but she'd rather be out doing yard work! Thank God, not a flake of snow here----sorry to you guys south of us! And Sherrie, Good Luck----you'd be great in the plant dept.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow is right! Have fun, Ric and Jan. We got absolutely nothing. 24 and cloudy.

South Hamilton, MA

Some 'ocean effect' flakes this morning. Temp in the 20s & it felt like it when we were doing errands this morning,

Good luck Sherrie. I hope they are more honest about what the job entails this time.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

23°, windchill -1°, wind NE 15mph, cloudy w/ passing snow showers
No accumulation.

Dover, PA(Zone 6b)

Well Victor we almost have 24, 24"s LOL I don't know if you could even enjoy this sking, all this powder would wear my knees out in no time. In a protected area of the backyard I'm showing 23". The stuff is light so moving it isn't the problem, where to put it all is. This volume will choke most cities for days. Ric

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - I never experienced that, Ric.

Dover, PA(Zone 6b)

Victor, Harrisburg has a couple nice concrete piers that over look the river, They make good use of them when we get a lot of snow. The trucks don't have to leave the city, just get to Front Street and dump it in the river. Ric

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That's convenient!

I was reading the other day that Harrisburg is in dire straits financially.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Still snowing and blowing here. AACCCKKKKK!!!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Getting very windy. Raw and nasty out there! Down to 24.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Looks to be about 18" so far will post pics later.
It was really coming down here earlier 2" an hour

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

There's a ton of people without power down the shore. I hope Weeze is OK.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

You're always wishing for snow, Jen!!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yep and I'm loving it. So are the kids. Son woke us up at 8, like it was Christmas morning.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Flurries have stopped and just overcast and grey here. Temp is 17 degrees and the wind which is very light has shifted to easterly backwards flow.
Glad you are happy with the snow Jen and the kids are having fun. Hope all those without power get it back quickly and no more lose it.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

It's ended here. Somewhere between 20 and 23" I think.

Wow - get hubby to work on that weatherstripping!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

nice cardinal Jen!!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Don't even get me started!!! The entire front door was installed wrong, he started this fall trying to fix the main door when he took the moulding off he saw that the idiots that put in just used finishing nails to hang the door. Hubby was so ticked he had to walk away from it, left the moulding off for about a month before he had the patience to try to tackle it again.

I don't know who they used to do the remodelling here but I'd like to know so I never hire them.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

our front door is not as bad as that.. but it was hung crooked and we can't fix it until we do the siding ... I can't lock the storm door... or leave the main door open on sunny cold days because of the gap in the storm door.... I put tape on the gap in the spring so the bugs wouldn't come in

Snowball fight looks fun, as snow doesn't seem to pack too well. Sad about the church & I bet they didn't have snow insurance.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

That snow does look very fluffy. Ours is a little heavier here.

Those trees seem sturdy enough.

Norristown, PA(Zone 6b)

Just dropped in to check on the weather in NYC. Didn't hear fom my nieces there today and was afraid they were stuck somewhere. Huh, No snow?? Allison,. didn't you get any at all? They really called this one wrong for us. They were saying that Philly was going to get 6 to 12" and west & north of the city less than that. I'm west of the city and got over 2 feet. I heard that down in Chadd's Ford near Longwood Gardens, 35 minutes from here, got close to 3 feet.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Nothing in NYC stormyla, just cold and some wind that's not too bad... considering what we could have had!

- Love the pics Jen!

* Edit: Presently 20°, windchill -1, wind N 10mph, partly cloudy
