Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Happy 95th Bday to your mom, Robindog.

Still waiting for it to start here. According to the radar it should be just about here. Snowing to the east of us.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Good luck to all of you South!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

wish we (me) were getting it!!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I bet THEY wish you would too. ^_^

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

LOL It started here about 5pm. Very light and wet stuff. It will be fun to see what it looks like in the am.

South Hamilton, MA

Don't mind the gov't being dumped on, but really tough on people who are not used to a ton! Glad that they had some warning.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Started lightly snowing about 15 mins ago

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

nothing here yet

Dover, PA(Zone 6b)

Since we live just south of the turnpike we could get as much as 18"s. It's really coming down out there, we have 8-9"s already, with the heaviest yet to get here. Ric

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh my goodness

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Nothing here.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

about 1/2" so far

South Hamilton, MA

We are north of the mess.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

we have barely a dusting.. guess they were wrong.. AGAIN... now they are saying 2 - 5 possible.. gotta love being wrong at your job 90% of the time

Speaking of jobs, I am going after another one. Lowes is opening a new store here and I am going for the LAWN AND GARDEN. I am going to get this job, I am going to get this job, I am going to get this job!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

good luck Sherrie hope you get it this time!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

SHEESH!!! it's awful out there. Hard to judge amounts cuz of the wind, but I'd estimate about 15" so far and not done yet. Jeff's gonna go out and shovel some to try to keep up with it so it won't be so bad when all is said and done. He just went out and it is a heavy snow. Be careful out there!!!

My oldest posted on Facebook that if we didn't make it he had dibs on our car, antiques , and DH's wood-working tools. A DIL then posted that if we didn't make it then his twin brothers probably wouldn't either, then he would only have to share with his youngest brother. Too funny!!!

Hunkering down. Glad I picked up some DVDs from the library.

edited to add: Good luck Sherrie! You would be perfect.

Its been a year since I got hired at HomeDepot and got stuck on the cash register and QUIT - remember?

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

I do remember that. Hopefully, this job would be more hands on with the plants.

Husbands gone back to work and I go totally nutz home alone all the time. They are starting in May and I would be in heaven. Lets see what happens :-)

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

We are up to almost 20'' in some areas...snow blower is waiting to get us out!

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Good luck with the job Sherrie.
Flurries here. Could get a dusting of snow. Temp is 18 degrees and may climb up to mid 20s. Tomorrow sunny around 30. Wind is calm.
They are all in a dither down south over the snow. I can't muster too much sympathy for them as far down as Virginia because you know it will be gone quickly. Not the same as two feet of snow up here that would hang around for a month or more and every storm would just pile on top of it. It is nasty for the day but will start melting quickly no doubt which could start a whole other set of problems.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

best of luck to you Ronnie & Jan... so sorry to hear about all that white stuff

Dover, PA(Zone 6b)

It's a little hard to tell how much we got so far, probably 18-24". We have drifts higher than the rail on the fence (30") and you can hardly tell where the 24" patio drops off into the yard. Here's a shot out the back door. The hot tub is buried on the right. Ric

That's what it looks like outside my window too, Ric.

Gonna make biscuits and gravy for Jeff, so he can warm up.
