For some reason, I can no longer get a "Post Reply" box in this thread, so I offer this corrected link to the Member Photo Album Thread I created:

Hope you all find this and it works out!

Yep, that's what I see too.

LOL! You all are a hoot!

I am still laughing about the "snarky" cat, Terry! LOL! Good thing you don't go home at 5 pm. :-)

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

My apologies if it's only a note that admins can see - but I see a red note saying the thread is locked to all non-admins. (I really thought everyone could see that; guess not.)

At any rate, I've added a post, directing anyone who is catching up on their reading to this thread ;o)

Ennis, MT(Zone 4a)

Wow. I had no idea Potagere was in a conspiracy with a cat!!! Did they run into a bar with the three guys? Or did someone lower the bar?

I think I will go make some hot chocolate before my sense of humor runs completely hopelessly amok. After all, I am starting to wonder if any DG members are still sitting staring at that, waiting for a clue what to do. Of course they are not, they will quite sensibly be drinking hot chocolate instead. I really believe hot chocolate solves about anything, so let's all make hot chocolate and solve DG's and the world's problems. I am sure it will work. It always does.

All of you come on over to my house and have hot chocolate with me.

Well, actually I do go home...but home and office are one and the same.

My office is in a bonus room just off the kitchen. That has both positive and negative aspects to it. On the upside, I never have to worry about traffic jams, bad weather, etc., making me late to work. And the coffee pot is situated on my way to work. I can check on dinner and keep working. All good things.

On the downside, it's hard to draw a clear distinction between the work day and the rest of my life. And I have no convenient excuse for being late to work, or any chance of my office closing due to bad weather.

I totally agree 'cept mines usually chocolate cake or brownies. LOL

Ennis, MT(Zone 4a)

Fine, you bring the brownies. They go great with hot chocolate.

Hughesville, MO(Zone 5a)

If Dave deleted something it was for good reasons. I have said things that got deleted. I didn't always agreed with why it was done but I have sense enough to know when I had been warned to not do something again. Apparently these people were warned and didn't heed the warning or the post was way past acceptability in the first place. These rules are in place to keep DG from becoming the foul mouthed, screaming fit, no consideration for anyone who isn't a carbon copy of ourselves site like so many are.

Are the brownies the rich almost fudge kind? I love hot choc. but usually add some spices like cinnamon, alspice, etc. Ginger is good too. Try it, you may like it. I also like a big dollop of ice cream in it. Not choc. tho, I don't care for choc. ice cream.

Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)

I am publicly apologizing to Juney. I am sorry. I'm still somewhat new and didn't realize what was really going on with her post. Sorry Juney :(

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Terry - I don't know if I could work out of my home for the very reason you stated. No seperation of private life and work when it is all under the same roof. Plus I like listening to music on my drive to work! :-) Kuddos to anyone who is able to do that! :-) You've been doing it a long time, too!

Debra - Maybe Michael's screen name should be "NON-gardener". :-)

Anytime a post is deleted it IS for good reason. Sometimes you have to ... to keep the peace. :-)

Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)

OOOH YEEAAHH that's the way I like my brownies.

I've never tried to add things like that.. mmm? I'm gonna have to try it.

(Zone 1)

Still lurking around here ... had to join the party:

mmm ... Hot Chocolate ♨ with Chunks of Brownies thrown in, and a dollop of Vanilla Ice Cream on top!

Dover AFB, DE(Zone 7a)

Thanks catzgalore, I finally posted it by copy/paste since I couldn't save to the right format on this computer.
Hey, howz about I bring the chocolate sauce for smothering and dipping, and leaflady, that ginger sounds good too! I've never had spiced hot chocolate.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

catz....I see you are only a few miles away...to bad it is so late; I may have drove down to share your brownies.

Ennis, MT(Zone 4a)

Hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps in it has great potential too. My sister in law taught me that after we shoveled snow off her carport roof one winter in Idaho. The beams were sagging so we knew we had to do it. Used ladders to go up, simply walked off the roof onto the snow when we were done. That was a lot of snow and her special hot chocolate was perfect for the moment.

Dover AFB, DE(Zone 7a)

Would hot chocolate/Kahlua taste like mocha? hmm, the peppermint schnapps blend does sound refreshing after working in cold weather.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Mulch...Before or after the shoveling? LOL!

Definitely after! We never would have gotten it done otherwise. ;-)

And yes, it was indeed refreshing.

I agree with her and I have sat and read Everything from the beginning as I had been MIA this winter.
As with everyone here this is family and a wonderful family that reached out to me especially Texans when I moved to Texas almost 3 yrs ago.
I gardened back in Illinois since childhood and had to re-learn how to garden in Texas ...no better place to do that then right here with such an unlimited supply of knowledge
Regardless of who stays and who leaves everyone I have meet in person and just online will always be my extended family.
Even our real families survive with change and disagreements but that is what makes us all so special to be able to agree to disagree and cherish our differences.
I have been lucky enough to meet Dave and his family and enjoy seeing them at every RU
I welcome our new family member Michael and as long as he sticks around on the forums with us We WILL turn him and his co workers into gardeners

Be forewarned we like our plants Grow on people and become addicting LOL

Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)
