hey loca, mine are in the garden and they survived 4 or 5 days of freezing and bloomed before the ones i had in the house
well after the feast it is nap time lol

Skell, I posted the alert and the picture of Jazzy on my Facebook page also. I do hope they find those girls....they are the same age as my middle daughter....I would die if something ever happened to her.

Trust me, I understand - I am the one with the baby of two children who thought they knew it all too. Dang kids anyway.

skellog - What joyful news to start the day! Soooo happy they are safe! Also hoping that someone makes sure that they are scared enough to never run again! I ran when I was a kid, had a very bad experience, perish the thought of any other innocents going through what I did!

Ah, a fresh new day - not pretty, just fresh I guess. Gloomy and 34 here - baby home, daddy gone to quiz bowl meet out of town - lucky gma - home alone with 1 year old. Bet I get a lot done today - keeping baby out of dog food, cat poop and all other goodies is a full time job. LOL I love him but dang babies are a lot of work - I really think I would rather dig a hole! God must know what He is doing, giving me this little one to look after - but dang, don't He ealize I am old?

My black eyed susan vines are still lookin good - hope they don't take over the bathroom before April 15! Oh, and I have one cinnamon vine coming up, finally - thought I had killed them for sure. Now if the silly begonias will come up I will be in good shape. I only got two Lupines out of 25 to sprout in the house so far. Is that normal, are they hard to start or did I mess something up?

Gotta go, baby is on the loose and the dog is a horrible babysitter.

Enid that sounds like me talking...There was a baby here last night . 18 months. I am definitely not baby proofed anymore...His Mother was with him thank goodness I think Mothers do things different these days!!

enid been their done that what you need is a 18 year old persian cat, he is so mean it ant funny. i have told the 6 and 4 year old don,t touch the cat do you think that stops them. no they just got to touch the cat can,t seam to help themself. i love those 2 kids but they are so hard headed. im not going to punish the cat he lives here full time.im going to get up and find smothing to do can,t sit here all day. you have a good day and enjoy the kid. they grow up so fast. love nettie

You heard jar, ladies. Only 42 days. Right. I'll be happy if we see spring here in 42 days, but I really think it will be closer to 82 days! lol We tend to look at Ground hog's Day a little different here. When they say 6 more weeks of winter, we get ecstatic, hoping it ends in 6 weeks, rather than being sad because it won't end for 6 weeks! lol

hey loca, guess what i have in my garden hmmmmm, well i worked in it all day raking the leaves, which was a loosing battle since we are having mighty strong winds and leaves fall as fast as i rake them, anyways a bunch of grape orchids are coming up they all have blooms so i will have to wait, but i will send you a couple.

my garden looks bare i cut everything out and raked even though you cant tell, will rake again next week and plant some things then.
i am exhausted, thanks to my son he did most of the cutting and picking up i just raked and pulled some weeds,

aj my dh just came up from the mail box, with my seed, told me look what robin sent me thought i was gona have to fight him for them. it takes so long for us to get anything in the mail. im in seed worship, like ive never had these before. thank you 20 times over. hugs and kissies and you will get seed this fall from me.

blondi, you have green,blooms, out side wonderful and i saw sunshine, i have mud mud and more mud . did some cleaning in the grssn house, but mostly been in the house yuck. got my seed in the mail today that helped a bunch. i too am thankful the girls are ok. hope they learned smothing from this. i took a couple of trips up fools hill but didn,t fall down to hard. nettie

yes i have some green but mostly brown it is starting to come back i really need about a week to get it back in order and get some things planted, i did get a new plant the other day, was an african iris, yellow in color, dont have too much yellow mostly purples lol, bet you dont know my favorite color lol. well i used muscles i havent in a while wow i am sore, going to take a hoooott shower, no tub, dern it all,
temp. is dropping getting nippy outside with the wind and all need to get out my snuggie and keep warm.

aj got seed from you today don,t remember when he sent my env to you the return post mark date is jan 20 that would be when you sent it back. we are on a rural route it takes a long time to get mail. its always good when we get it. thanks nettie. you did good

Yes Robin I'm still checking zone 6 not sure if anyone is checking 7 and 8 and Cue's zones since Mechelle and Cue aren't on here much. Maybe Flower is doing those. Had one newbie last month and told her to send in her envie got a thank you for the headsup from that one. No new ones since then.
