ok ladies im gona plant some stuff, gota get out of here, ok so im not real bright can,t help that i was born this way. gona plant some seed in greenhouse minnie morning glory in hanging baskets, some other stuff ive let go. its do it now or forget it. wonder if i could get by with moveing some pennies the white are getting very thick? anyone know the answer to that. hugs nettie

Dolls are not my favorite things. Too many spook movies as a kid. However yours Mindy is wonderful and can hang around my house anytime. :)

I love the doll Mindy. She is really cute. I can relate to the horror flicks with the dolls in them..My uncles used to hold me down and try to force my eyes open to watch some of those crazy old movies...Why does everything seem spookier in black and white?

Sleeping Beauty is my son K.C. - He's 4 now so a little less round faced but I just put that up because it was a pretty good indicator of how I felt right then, only I was half slumped over the computer !!

Mornin' all! Rotten baby off to daycare so grandma can get something done today. Semi blew a head gasket yesterday so I am off until Monday.

Snowing here again this am 33 outside so maybe it wont stick - last weeks snow hasn't all melted yet. We sure needed the moisture, the wheat around here was looking sickly but holy cow, did we have to get it all at one time.

Who has pussy willow? I would really like to have one of those. We had one when I was little - living next door to Mrs. Edwards - I would spend hours out there "petting" the tree. Occasionally, when mom wasn't looking, I would pluck one or two of the nubs to play with. That was the coolest tree!

My poor WS containers are burried in the snow - hope they like it cold.

Gotta paint the rest of the bathroom today - about tired of working in there!

Arejay and kcs_mom have them. I'm hoping to get a couple of cuttings from someone.

littlenettie to answer your question about the peonies you don't want to transplant them until late Sept or early Oct. They are very chosy about things and if you aren't careful you will lose them. They are also very hard to dig if they have been in the ground for any length of time. Just little buggers.

Mindy your doll is so cute. I got 5 pair of haouse slippers made and am working on the most beautiful scarf. Just about got it finished, Then I am going to try my hand at some cotton dish cloths.

Its raining here today ughh..I guess I could be cleaning house but that really sounds like no fun to me...Im out of potting soil so I cant make any more WS containers till I go to town tomorrow..DH is working 12 hour graveyard shift tonight so I have to be quiet(means no house work),I cant cook because the smell of food wakes him right up..I guess I'll be forced to just sit here and play online most of the day, if the clouds and the rain dont interfere with my internet connection..Hope you all have a wonderful day..

Nope Loca it's not the $$$ that's talking it's the reason the lady wants the darn things. They have a gift shop at an old mill that was used in the one of the wars (Battle of Mill Springs) all the money they make there goes to keep the old mill in mint condition and running. You can buy stone ground cornmeal there when they are open and watch them grind the meal at certain times.

Got up off my duff and took a walk around the lake. Kind of gloomy,(go figure) but the fresh air was nice. Saw a cock pheasant but of course the camera had shut itself off by then so no pic, have to get a real camera again soon.
