Actually Lynnie, and this is the truth. I went into the store that was across from it and ask some regulars there if they had seen what I did and who should I call. They said we didn't see anything. So I said well if you didn't see it then I didn't do it Thanks and then I left LOL That stop sign was knocked down at least once a month and they finally put a caution light there instead.

Been missing my gypsie friends...

Went to town today and got groceries and by the time I got back boss was on the machine and husband said friend had called and her husband went outside and hadn't come back in....welcome home....

One of my co workers fell on the ice and broke her foot in 5 places and her clients are around me so I get them. Had to figure out what hours and days I could fit them in.
Took groceries out to friend and her DH had come back in the house but he has lost his hearing aid somewhere AGAIN and was outside looking for it..sigh

GS went to his mom's so maybe I will get the computer for awhile :^)

Hey JJ, glad to see your back up and running. Sounds like your days ahead are gonna be full for a while. Glad client is ok and not lost in the cold. Sorry for co-worker, that has got to hurt! Has all the bad weather moved out and melted your way?

JJ, she didn't fall on your property, did she? What bones in her foot did she break? I broke one bone in my foot last year and it took forever to heal.

Flowers most of the ice has melted. Really had to watch out today because it was falling off the power lines. If no salt was put down then some driveways are still icey, but its not too bad.

Won't hurt me to work a little more...maybe I won't eat as much..grin

No Venice she fell at her house. Slipped on the ice going out to her car.
I don't know what bones, they just said she broke 5 bones in her foot and had to have surgery but not until the swelling went down. I figure she will be gone at least 3 months maybe more.

I have these Yactrax that I bought I couple years ago. But they were too small for me. My walking shoes are a 7 1/2 W. If anyone has a shoe size smaller than that, let me know and I will send them to you. I tried a few times to sell them on Craigslist without luck. Do you know what they are? You slip them over shoes when you walk on ice. This is what they look like. Mine are clear colored.

Thanks Venice, they would have been handy...but...my shoe is bigger than yours.

so at my pedicure yesterday, the woman wouldn't let me put my shoes on afterward. She was quite firm, pointed at my shoes and said "if you put those on you will SMUDGE your polish!" I totally expected her to say "Is that what you want??" She made me buy the black plastic flipflops and wear them home ($3) I guess she's sick of women smudging their toes and coming back for a fix.
She also said next time we could bring wine and crackers & cheese if we want....i said how long do you want us here? lol

If you guys aren't going to get up I'm going to finish my workout at the gym.

it was 31 degrees, which feels mild after the weeks of teens & 20's *grin* plus hubby just fixed the heat in my car that day, so I had warm air blowing on my toes.

I finished the workout for you Lynnie.
Took all I could do but I got that donut up to my mouth.....think I'll use a smaller one next time..

you have to do more reps, less weight jj ;)
