Oh I understand now--brain has overload at the moment. I just discovered about 25 applications on our web that needed a response about participating this year. Yikes, I thought they were to print the form and mail to us but no! On further checking it says we will review and then let them know to submit payment. Boy did we goof on that!!

At least after tomorrow's meeting, I will have a nice 3 day break visiting with my Mom and taking her great granddaughters for a visit. This should be fun!!

Oh, Jaye, please take care of that back....it is no fun...seems when the back is out so is everything else.

Jaye you are tooo sweet finding me more fabric for Tonys quilt (huggs).. I will be headed out tomorrow and spending the day outside as we are supposed to hit 40 and poor Bella has been locked up inside and desperately needs some fun time with mom..

Kathy I have some seeds I think.. Would you like to try them? They are really easy to grow from seed.. I think I may even have a tuber here in the basement growing but will have to check.. I think it was yelow..

was a VERY cold start today at 2 degrees when I took Tony to school.. Then by 830 when I went to work it was 12.. Brrrrrrrr Once the sun came up and things warmed a bit the buisiness picked up at the shop for a not so boring day for me...

Just came back from the UCW meeting, and as they say "In for a penny, in for a pound" (that would be british pound/currency, in case you don't know).
I'm going to be baking for the Robbie Burns Dinner; calling around to see what people had agreed to do at other times in the church; making 2 cloth covers for 4" D-ring binder for our "In Memorial Books", and whatever else I can do to make it easier on the elderly/seniors in our church. Boy, they sure do a lot all the time. It's hard to say all they do, but it's twice what most people do to keep up a home.......

Had another full day, but not a great one. First had to go to the dentist, filling fell out of my frount tooth just by flossing. I now need a cap for that tooth and now have to put up with this while acylic temp. tooth. Two weeks I will getting the permanent one. The worse part of going is what they charge. I have a small fortune stuck in my mouth. Then to the clinic for blood tests. The gal said my doctor must be mad at me because of 8 vials of blood had to be taken. They put blood in me then take it out. Just what kind of game is that. I came home so tired but instead of laying down I got on the computer. You are so right about being addicted to facebook. I'm beginning to dream about plowing and harvesting. As much as "I" ran around my farms I should be getting skinny.

We got rain last night and it I had to wear my jacket, but later on the sun came out and warmed up. A few days of cool weather then is supposed to go back up. This is really some strange weather for us at this time of year.

ugh, y'all, I'm trying to read. Darn, I've caught some sniffle, so reading is going in one eye and out the ears.

Julie and all - I was laughing my head off when mid-life dating. With a psych degree, I REALLY WAS researching men. Concluded, you see, that I didn't know a thing about them. Since I LIKE men, I decided to learn them. Set up research parameters! Mom still says I should write a book. We'd call it, "If you are fishing, what are you using for bait?" or "In a sea of choices, you can always throw him back."

I was so naive, I had to learn EVERYTHING. My 10-year-younger, former model, rich girlfriend would walk us into a bar, and I would always be the first approached by guys.

But I never went out with any macho types who thought me lucky to be with them - had 11 years of that with ex. Cindy, if you run into that type, walk the other way. But it sounds like you already know this.

It was a sloooow daaaaaay which amounted to a yet, slower evening. Talking of deliberate, slow movements.
Gee, I had bouts of back pain now and then, but never this severe.
Must have flared up an old injury climbing in and out of the box truck. And I have been accompanying Kel on his early morning runs..
Took 3 Advils, and they lasted for 3 hours. Then before Kel enticed me to a Mexican dinner, I took a Darvocet. That was more than 5 hours ago. I should be in Lala land, right?

Julie, I'll look for you on FB. Not a gamer here, but it seems 3/4s of my friends and family are. What am I missing?? Hehehe.. peace from asking for help!!!

Pegi, Kel has a fortune in his mouth too. He had a root canal just recently, and his titanium rod to hold his 'acrylic' tooth, broke. Dentist want more money to get that repaired, when it's shoddy work!! Family dentist btw!
8 vials???? Check the doctor's diet.... may be lacking of iron and looking for donors? Or his cousin from Transylvania;s coming for a visit.

Bon, I wouldn't want to share my past with anyone here!!! Embarrasingly naive when it came to men.... especially pathetic....and wished I had trust the Lord then. The things I do to garner attention and most of the attention I received were negative.

Oh Jaye! please go easy on yourself. hope it's just a muscle problem and not discs. take yourself to doc, darlin', with that much pain. or see your chiropractor. That's too much for you, and if it's muscle a muscle relaxer will do wonders.

Pegi, is it on FB where there's a farm/garden game? That's very popular. Jaye, these are Sims City type games, and they do appeal to a broad audience. But I can't seem to get interested in FB, but am so very tempted to go see if I can locate old friends lost by time.

Jaye, thanks so much for the fabric. I got it and wondered what it was for and then I remembered the lap quilt. I love the colors and it should be fun to find things to go with it. Right now it goes in to be packed with the other million and one peices of fabric so that they can go to their new home in Ohio. Timing is everything. I have to time getting everything packed but having something to do in February.

I need to pick out the room colors for my new place and let them know at the Center so they can have it ready for me when I move in March. I have everything but my room and the bathrooms. It will be gold in the living rm.,diningrm and kitchen (all open to one another). The guest room is for Tink to do and it will (of course) be in purple. My den/sewing room off the dining rm is taupe and that still leaves my bedroom.

I am running through quickly, grabbing a cup of coffee as I need the energy for today, going to Gainesville for meeting tonight and on to visit my Mom tomorrow with her 2 great granddaughters with me!! Looking forward to a wonderful weekend watching my Mom play with her great grandchildren. Should be a wonderful weekend.
