No I looked for Moon. And I looked for Lynny in land scaping and failed miserably at both. One thing is I, dont know how Moon looks. I know,I know,I dont get a star! There Flowers,I know, you dont have to say it. I dont get any desert either. Joy, do you have any thing for me to look for and cant find either?

I was Kassy...dad has successfully stolen enough that he is napping in his recliner...mom's surgery went fine and they have moved her to her room where she is napping and little brother will be here in about 3 hours so I think I'll nap here on the couch myself or I'll never make the drive home....I stayed up to late last night

Hi Joy. Here is a bit of info for you. We do not bring them in, or keep them penned. They have free reign of the yard and garden and we make sure veggie scraps are at the bottom edge of the compost pile to supplement their diet. Tooter was born and raised in the compost pile at the back edge of our yard.

Joy, the original Tooter the Turtle is a children's cartoon character from the 1960,s...He was a time traveler and watched over by a lizard named Mr Wizard....grin

yeah after soaking my passie seeds in wet paper towels to help germination, when do I plant them? do I plant them when the seed has doubled in size, or do I plant them when they start forming little roots? and if you can't find that Dixie, then we can play find Dave.....LOL

LOL Dixie, she is there I promise, top level next to lady (her daughter) with striped shirt on. Top level on right hand side. Well Joy since no one else has responded I will tell ya. An almond joy is a delicious candy bar made with chocolate and coconut with a big almond on each end. D-mail me your addresss and I'll send ya one. And Tooter is a cartoon turtle character from the 60's that we all loved to watch. They quit selling turtles here for fear of disease coming in from countries shipping them so we can't even find the ones for aquariums and the ones on roadside are too big. My dad caught one out of the river years ago that all the neighborhood kids could ride on. It was called a mud turtle or snapping turtle. Hope you have a great evening.

Moon,thank you for your info regarding Box Turtles,i've heard of them and seen them on nature programmes on TV,but I guess I didn't realise they're the ones you have localto you.It must be interesting to have them around the garden.I looked at both the links you gave me,they're very beautiful,the markings on their shells.
Thankyou too for explaining about Tooter the Turtle cartoon.I remember well the things I loved on TV when I was a child.We probably had some of the same programmes,but Tooter's one I don't know :}

I've heard of Snapping /Mud Turtles,but again ,only from TV,same as Box Turtles.
That must have been a very large one your Dad caught,if it could be sat on,even by children.
