A russian scientist and a Chech scientist insisted on doing research in Yellowstone during bear mating season. After a few days of regular check-ins with the rangers, no one heard from them for a couple days. The rangers found their camp in shambles and a pair of bear tracks leading away...they followed and found the female bear covered in blood. As per regulations, they put the bear down and opened her up to find the russian scientist inside. One ranger turned to the other and said"you know what this means don't you?" The other ranger shook his head and said "yep, the Chech is in the male"

I am back inside because it started to rain. Thank goodness! I was getting pretty cold and wet. My shoes were squishy, pants were wet up to my knees, shirt and hoody were wet up to my elbows. The water from the hose this time of the year is pretty cold also!

Hi again,Smiley thanks for the map,now I know where you live.You're close to so many lakes and the Falls,I bet the scenery's beautiful.
I'm glad you found Dronfield,it's only a fairly small town,although ther's been quite a lot of new houses built in recent years.It's home to approx 28ooo people,I believe.
Our nearest city's Sheffield,about 6 miles away to the North.
I think it's hard to tell the age of tortoises,even for vets.I just know with mine cos I've the registration certificate to say he was bred in UK,and that says what year he was hatched,but not the month or date,so I don't know his birthday :}
Are Almond Joys,biscuits[cookies]?
Moon,is Tooters a large turtle and does he live in or outside ?,i know here they have to live indoors and have a tank to swim in,which 's a bit worrying as a lot of them grow quite big :}
Dixie,I too prefer shopping to wrapping,DH has to force me to help him wrap :}
and yes it'd be lovely to al go out together,I guess I'd have the longest journey,depending of course on where we decided to meet.
