We'll go with ya moon, but don't think we will get much shopping done. I've found when someone goes with me we wander around a bit and then wind up eating somewhere lol

Looks like we won't have any real sun around here until Sunday....how appropriate, sun on Sun-day....grin Supposed to get some temps in the 30's and weatherman said there would be snow flurries up in Jim's neck of the woods....

Talking up to two inches here in higher elevations so will probably get a dusting. Hope it goes fast, have places to go and people to see :-)

That is why DD was such a great person to shop with....she is so organized and focused....like my Mom was. We usually managed to get all the stuff done in just a couple days and then had time to double check lists and take advantage of last minute sales....

Got most of mine and if all else fails those gift envelopes with money are always a hit.

Gonna go with ex-sil Friday to this cool shop that has old fashion candies and toys, just love the naustalgia of it even if I don't buy there. The grands would look at me as if I were nuts if I gave them a toy with a string lol

I don't go to a store from now until january 15 unless I need plant stuff and it has to be an emergency need or I won't go then either

I hear ya, Teens and Greens....lol Today is DHJim's birthday....hope his gift gets here...grin His cordless drill has been acting up, so went on-line to check out deals. Found a cordless drill, sander, jigsaw and worklight set, normally selling for $130, on sale for $59.95 and free shipping...only had one rechargeable battery, so thought I would get a second one for backup....the silly battery was $30....got it anyway cuz once I get him going on a project sure don't want him quitting due to a dead battery...grin

Moon my mom doesn't shop much anymore. Her knees bother her.
She usually waits until she thinks I've got mine done then calls and says " what did you get for_____. Ok I'll pay for that make it from me." lol

Flowers eating is a must when shopping. have to keep up the strength to carry all those packages.

Ok I have to get busy. Long list to get done. Get off computer crank up stereo first on the list...grin

Oh wouldn't that be fun Lynnie...Can you imagine the gypsies all together in a shopping mall.....shoe stores fuzzy socks chocolate coffee....and that is just to get us going...we would have to have JJ there to keep us organized and Smiley to keep us in line....grin of course Dixie and Flowers would have to promise not to whine or pick on each other...we could promise them gold stars and chocolate...lol

I did however pick up a new philo for $4 yesterday at the nursery with her, she wanted to go look, since she can't have any plants in the house here

thanks Moon, if I was at home I'd have plenty to keep me busy, but I'm stuck here with the worlds fattest cats ever, and God forbid you should correct one or my dad yells, which let me tell you sicilians do NOT make good patients, I can't wait for my brother to get here tomorrow so I can be home for the weekend, although I have to take the 2 younger boys to thier doctors appointments to get thier stitches out

JJs we can turn up the music and dance in the corner....that corner is getting to be quite well equipped...pretty soon it will be too much fun to be sent to the corner...lol
