I stuck chicken drippings in the fridge & I was thinking of making a gravy because I know nobody else will. Then I'll quietly get my share before mentioning to anybody that it's there *grin*
FAMILY, FRIENDS AND GYPSIES
NO gravy that would be fighting words here. LOL
Is dinner at your house Lynnie?
Moon, I don't know which meal I would pick, they both sound really good.
But I know I would want some of Jo's cranberry salad too, Jim!
Here too, JJ. DS's plate looks like a work of art, then he pours gravy over the whole thing. Loves every bite of it too.
What does the Monkey eat Lynnie?
looks kind of like gravy...
better go take a look at my kitchen and do some meditating.
WOW do I hear a story coming...lol yeah, Lynnie, did the monkey eat at the table? grin
Well, since the oven is big enough, I may just do both and not have to cook again all weekend....I am with you JJ, takes forever to figure out the nightly meal.
no sillies, he had his little baby bottles. He's taking a bath in the sink there.
Last year nobody could decide where to have Thanksgiving, I said you can all come here but don't tell me 2 days ahead of time! So 3 days ahead of time they tell me they're coming here. My sister calls, the baby monkey can't be left home alone, he's climbing out of his playpen. My BIL may have to stay home with him. I said just bring the monkey, I don't want my BIL home alone on Thanksgiving. So I had 50 or so (who counts) people for dinner and a baby spider monkey. He was very good, unlike my sisters he didn't break anything and he only grabbed one cookie off a plate. He wore a diaper at the time. He lives at the zoo now, he's grown up.
What did the Monkey do to cause him to get locked up? I hope it wasn't for stealing a cookie!
he was only at my BIL's temporarily, the mother rejected him and he had to go live with my BIL till he was off baby bottles. My BIL runs the local zoo. You must have missed the baby kangaroo pic?
I forgot about your BIL...didn't make the connection...lol
I see the bath now, couldn't see it before.
You've been busy Dave...looking tasty. can't wait to see the finished dish.
Catch up to y'all a bit later...have a good afternoon.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Wow Dave looks good.
Sounds like a plan Moon. No cooking all weekend is a given here. LOL
Enchiladas for tonight
Now back to painting.
Cya when I come up for air next. LOL
You really don't want to see what we are having for dessert for Thanksgiving........LOL
Let see you only get there every other weekend.
Nope I don't want to see dessert. LOL
See you in the corner. I'm bad
OMG Dave, I just read your comment as to what did the monkey do to get locked up........LOL
Too funny ^_^
JJ! To the corner!!
ROTFL
you guys are too funny....you can run faster if you have your fuzzy socks on, I just got a new fancy striped pair, in time for the festivities *grin*
I'm trying to find a better pic of the monkey, that one was a cell phone.
Already there!!
That the last step Dave?
that food Dave is cooking is making my mouth water....now I want plantains and rice & beans....
Too cute Lynnie.
Who changed him??
my BIL & nephew were in charge of that ;)
torture by dial up
JJ, would you believe the stores around here ran out of pumpkin?
That is a first as far as I know.
I was going to make pumpkin bars that are a lot like pie.
So instead we are having turtle pie ^_^
And I don't have to bake it..................LOL
Through with the yard. Leaves all chopped up and gone. Grass nicely manicured and oh so green. Geez, and it is nearly December. Iris is even blooming.
I ask for spaghetti for Thanksgiving every year but never get it. Think I'll pout. Moon can I come to your house? Sounds a lot better than what we are having. Except for the cranberry salad. Guess I'd better stay here, one get the cranberries at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Does the grass grow year-round in your area Jim?
Here it grows faster during the wet winter months. In summer it slows down because of heat & dryness.
Grass grow about 8 months a year in North Louisiana. Usually, it goes fairly dormant and doesn't grow fast but stays green. So far this year it is still growing pretty good. We haven't had a frost so far.
So what's in that cranberry salad Jim? Do tell... I love cranberry anything.
Yes, give us the recipe Jim!
Next on the prep table is Cranberry-Citrus Relish with grated Coconut & Ginger.
Dave, you have the citrus covering Wisconsin :-|
