Looks like a lot of us are need of Prayer right now. My nephew Connor who was having the seizures had someone pull out in front of him last week...he swerved to miss them and rolled the car. The police arrested him for drunk driving...he had NOT been drinking but he has been having dizzy spells. They kept him in jail over night. A guy who witnessed the accident tried to tell the police what happened and they told him to get lost. Then this morning my BIL dropped Connor off at the Pharmacy to pick up a prescription and he had another seizure while waiting in line, broke his nose and knocked out two front teeth. He is in the hospital and they are calling in a new Neurologist. That family has had so many medical problems over the past year or two. Please keep them in you prayers.

Have a good night everyone.

A lot of good news and a lot of sad news going on now. Prayers for all who need them. I'm feeling bad for our 4 legged loved ones, Ali this means you. Jaye, the baby kitties always seem to find their way to your house. They know who takes the best care of them. The neighborhood cats all seem to know there is a big bag of cat food in our garage. When the garage door goes up they all come running, especially an all black one that appeared out of nowhere a couple months ago.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Jaye you know my thoughts and prayers are going out to you, Kel, and Ali. Along with everyone else having furbaby or featherbaby issues. I want to identify each one of you but I'm so tired if I went back up to read it, it would be gone by the time I scrolled down to type it in. It is so sad to see them go, but it's all a part of the life cycle, as much as it sucks.

LOL Pegi, that's too funny, they know where to get the good food!

I'm so glad that Ray's surgery was a success!

Congrats on the new baby Phyllis!!

My contacts keep coming off of my eyeballs, I blink a couple of times and they go right back, but that's weird!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Crissy, sounds like they are not fitting right! better go have them checked, before they do damge to your eyes.

Good night everyone!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Kel and I want to thank you for all your prayers for Ali. He's assured of our love through them and the pats and the hugs.
He passed away at 10.30 tonight.
At 10.00, Kel tried to feed him with a tube, which we had been doing for 2 days, and he wasn't swallowing. We then prayed fervently to the Lord to take him home, while he's not suffering. Lord is so good, as to do so 30 minutes later. He did this too after we have said goodbye to him.

Ali will continue to daydream in heaven, his favorite pastime, and join the others that have gone first. Yes, I know he will be happy there and will wait for us.
Some doubt whether our pets go to heaven. But He reveals the truth through the Book of Revelation that all lesser animals are immortal and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven along with Christians.

Thank you my sistahs.

(((((((((((((((Jaye & Kel)))))))))))))))

I was praying that it would be gentle, and obviously He heard all of us, and it was.
Jaye, I believe animals go to Heaven, to be companions with all of us. How could He have made them to be companions to us on earth, then deny the love they give us, afterwards?
Ali's in good hands - the gentlest of hands possible.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Morning my sistahs.
We buried Ali this morning.

About the kitty that came. We had him locked up in the enclosed porch, to protect him from our other curious furbabies.
It cried all day long yesterday and last night.. loud wails.. didn't eat nor drink his food. Then when Ali died, the noise stopped.
Kel went to check on it, and it's no longer there... it disappeared in thin air. I'm not kidding!!!
You all know how deep our faith is, and we're not much into the '3rd dimension' etc.. but we truly can't find it, and there's no way it can get out of that secured enclosure.
Tell me if that's not God sending a kitty angel to mourn for Ali with us?

I thank you all again for loving us so much as to pray for one precious pet and giving us comfort at this time.

The next post will be from Kel.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

(((Jaye and Kel))) I know it is bittersweet for you both right now. God is good, bringing you the new little addition to ease your pain. Love you both so much.

(((Lisa))) So sorry for all your problems and losses, Lisa. I'll be praying for you and your family.

Jaye, I received an awesome box from you! Your thoughtfulness just overwhelms me! They're going in water and on the windowsill right now!
(But not the calendar, that's going in my pure! ;o)

Cindy, I hope you make tons of money so you can come to the sistah gathering!!

I made candy all day yesterday. I need to make a batch of caramels today, but so far, I just can't make myself do it! Lazy, I guess...

It looks very wintery outside today, but the temps aren't bad. I had to treat the pond for ick, and I got the blue meds all over my hands. I finally got them clean after soaking them in Clorox!

I'm getting off easy tomorrow. Lisa is fixing dinner and she just wants me to bring Chinets, a bottle of wine and some corn from the garden. She is preparing a feast. I will NOT think about calories (or how I'm going to look in that swimsuit next week)! ^_^

Okay, need to check some other threads...hope the rest of you are all doing okay.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Hello,
This is Kel.I just wanted to thank all of you for your prayers for Ali.
Maid Marion that tear is much appreciated.
Susan and Linda Kay and to others I have not met, hope to see you all one day.
Hugs to you ,Judy, my chippewa sister.
About the kitty, It appeared to be 6 to 8 weeks old and was solid gray. Its eyes were gray too, but in the very center there was a dot that was cobalt blue in color. It was very strange that it disappeared at Ali's death and we have not seen it again.
Thank you for being great friends of Jaye.
Love,
Kel

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Well, huh...maybe that was an angel kitty sent from above to accompany Ali on the trip home...

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

((((Kel))) Love you Brudder!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

((((((((((Cookie))))))))))))))
You've said it well. Kel says that kitty out of the woods will not come to you. This somehow made a beeline for the house, running behind Scrunchy.
We are too rational, skeptical folks that are not into mysticisms, etcetra.. etcetra.. but this is truly what happened, and we both witnessed the kitty's appearance and disappearance.
Yes, Ali must be one special dog for the Lord to send a Kitty Angel to accompany him.

Then the most touching thing was Rimau (the cat that grew up with Ali) stood on its' coffin, before we could cover the grave. After its' covered, Rimau sat on the side of the grave for a long time.....

God is good.. it will be a great Thanksgiving this year.

Cookie, you are welcome. I don't remember what I had sent, but were there Adeline or New Orleans Lady? Those were doubles. Think I deliberately left a bud on Serendipity, so you will have it bloom faster next year.

Oh my gosh, Jaye and Kel so sorry for your loss and reading everything brought tears to my eyes.

I too hope to make lots of money so that I can come to your palce in June, Cookie. I finished the birdfeeder for my bud. I'm going to have Steve make some more but a little different I think. I have an idea, lol. I'm now making some candles to sell for Christmas. Gonna make the house stink pretty lol. My mom is babysitting for me so I can do this. Drats!! I broke a tooth last night eating Hot Tomales candy.Well no more chewy candy for me :(.

It is not ours to explain things that happen but to just accept it as His way of communication with us and showing us love--I do believe that and I also think Ali had company on his journey. Bless you both and sending much love and many, many hugs Jaye and Kel.

Well it is getting busy around here so I will wish all a wonderful Thanksgiving and will ever be so thankful I found this group. Don't over eat--yeah, fat chance that will happen.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

I need to clean everything really bad, maybe I'll do that over the weekend while Dave's working and I'm home, he'd appreciate that!

LK I think my contacts got too dry or something, they're the same brand and size and everything else and I've never had a problem before, I put them in at 7:30 this morning and haven't had any problems with them today, and they're the same pair of contacts. Just weird it is! LOL

(((((((Jaye and Kel)))))))))
Big Big gentle hugs for you, I'm very glad Ali passed with no trauma, wish we could all be so lucky. God is with you both, and Ali, and Angel Kitty. We all love you two very much.

{{{{Jaye & Kel}}} My heart goes out to you on the loss of Ali. I am sure she brought much pleasure to your life. It is so strange about the "Angel" kitty, but certainly had to have a special meaning. God bless Ali as she crosses Rainbow Bridge and awaits you both.

I have not been around for quite awhile but do lurk from time to time (hard to keep up with all of you and your activities!)

I did want to stop by to wish each and every one of you a very Happy Thanksgiving and hope you enjoy it with family/friends and stop to count your blessings. It's been tough for me this year but I have been thankful for the small things I have been blessed with. Ever cloud does have a silver lining and we must seek that.

God Bless all Sistahs!!

haven't been here in months it seems, but got a new pc, so with work schedule, hope to be able to at least 'lurk' once in a while.
But did want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and leave you with this thought.

We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting
something we don't have,
but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have,
and it isn't what you have in your pocket that makes you thankful,
but what you have in your heart.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

I just happened to go into Facebook and saw Jaye's post. I'm feeling so sad, so easy to cry over losing an animal. He was so lucky to have good parents like you and Kel, much loved.

Saw the hematologist today, no bone bone marrow biopsy, thank God. They still can't figure out why my blood has dropped so much since last May. Learned something new, there is a section that a colonoscopy can't reach, and a scope through the throat either. They have a capsule with a camera you can swallow, like a large vitamin pill, and it takes pictures while traveling down. Tech. is so amazing. Now I have to see my regular doctor again and discuss it with him. Just looked that up on the Internet so understand it a little. After it is through traveling through you system you 'poop' in out and flush it away. We will see if my medical will OK that. Not going to worry about it now. Just loading up on iron rich food.

Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. BTW, we have a friend who is a real native American and he stopped by this evening with a turkey for us. Wow, a real Indian gave us the important part of our meal. We let him park his van in our driveway so he doesn't have to work on Mondays so he doesn't get a street sweeping ticket. Well, rattled on enough. ((((For All))))

Lancaster, OH(Zone 6a)

Its so good to see all of you posting and Linda it was greta to chat with you yesterday, hopefully we can catch eachother again sometime soon..

As many of you know we have had a very rough year and I want to send a very special thanks ou to all of you for your support and friendship :) You truly are a great group of people who I am honored to know and come to love as not only friends but extended family.

We have 4 dinners to attend tomorrow so I probably wont be around much and Im headed back to work Friday morning. Maxs work shut down for the weekend but hes going to be taking the kids up to Grandma and Uncle Jacks farm to do some work to help out getting things in order. Jack is looking at surgery soon but he wasnt looking well the last time we saw him. The stress of worrying about grandma (Jacks mom) and his own illness is hard on him so we are going to help whenever we can.. I will try to check in Friday night or over the weekend..

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone
