IT'S JUST THE GYSPY IN MY SOULFOOD

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Yea, Joy, you made it. Don't think you have met Dave yet, he is our resident chocolate grower/tropical plant info man.

Yeah, the hand bag/purse and wallet/purse can be confusing...here we have coin purses, wallets for bills and credit cards and purses/handbags to put them all in....grin

How goes the assembly?

A picture of MapleCrest, the new home I will be working at.

This picture was taken from my front door.
Think I can run across the street and through the neighbors back yards?

Kassy, it is so nice you can even walk everyday to work!

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

DIL told me I might not want to run though the neighbors back yards. She said she saw some big dogs.............LOL

Dave, that water looks so refreshing!

Kassy, you can always ask your neighbors.

(Zone 5b)

Dave what a beautiful picture!
Hi Joy! Is that garden spot sunny today? :)
Kassy if you leave for work in the dark you might get picked up as a prowler lol
Venice I'm jealous that you got all your shopping done.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Lynn, a prowler in Pulaski? You have got to be kidding.................LOL

Population in July 2008: 3,552................
Mostly young kids are out at night. That's why our cars stay locked at night. They took CD's out of my son's car when it wasn't locked one night.
The reason we knew it was kids? He had computer parts on the back seat, and those were left there. They didn't work, but anyone that was looking for something worth value would have taken them, not the CD's that he had burned.............LOL

Males: 1,777 (50.0%)
Females: 1,775 (50.0%)
hmmmmmmmmmm, I kind of like those numbers.....

(Zone 5b)

ok a bear.....

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Now that is what I'd call a sweet deal, Kassy. bet you wish you were there now. The town we lived in when I was born changed the population sign from 104 to 105 the day my Mom brought me home....grin

Great pictures as always Dave

How about calling it Cabbie for short, Venice.....grin

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Moon, do you mean my Cabbie Tree?

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Yup, much easier to remember....lol

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

lol Cabbie it is!

By the way, if anyone has any extra Forget-Me-Not seeds or if you come across someone who has them, please let me know. Thanks a lot!

Jesup, GA

And a BIG HELLO! to all. Beautiful pictures every one. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY SMILEY!! Tried to get a little Christmas shopping done today. If I had a hammer with me I would have knocked this woman in the head with it. Some pepole can be so rude! I 'm quite sure if I had knocked her on the head I would have been arrested. Might have been worth it though. Grin

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Hi Dixie. Some people need a little courtesy and sense knocked into them. Rough week?

Jesup, GA

Every one must be off feeding their faces. Which ,I'm about to join yall. Be back in a little while. FOOD must have Food!

Jesup, GA

Hey moon! It coulda been better and it coulda been worse. I got both jaws packed full of cookies and drinking milk. Grin

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Heaven forbid I come between you and your cookies....could cause and all out assault by the Poos....grin

Jesup, GA

Kinda got it backwards dont I. Still gonna have dinner too. All of that pent up agression from my shopping trip! Taking it out on cookies and doing a pretty good job. LOL.... Have to blame my pig like behavior on some thing.

Jesup, GA

Poo's know to leave mommy alone when it comes to her cookies! Husband too! Grin

Jesup, GA

I have this look while eating cookies like I may bite. Also make these snarling sounds. I Hang a do not disturb bib on. Most people cant read it for the crumbs all over it. And make the mistake of trying to take one from me. They don't realize that a finger or hand could go missing. Grin

Jesup, GA

Have to start coooking it's my turn tonight. Husband is giving me that look. I'll be back in a while.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I am curious. Does anyone say anything to these rude run-you-down people?

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

It is that near subliminal growl that scares the folks off Dixie....LOL

(Zone 5b)

haha Dixie I growl & threaten my husband with my fork if he reaches for my food!
I made polenta to go with the leftover sausages...should be ready in 7 minutes....

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I guess I get it. I had a neighbor who was so verbally mean, said mean things about me to many neighbors, she really scared me. I know she could beat me to a pulp if she wanted! I tried to stay out of her way and now she moved in a couple of buildings down from me. She still scares me!!!!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I am having soup and hoping it chooses to stay with me. Got a bit of a bug, or BUG more appropriately. Wouldn't bother me so save that tonight is #2 Son's surprise B'Day party. He will be 34 tomorrow. So DHJim and GSJordan have gone to celebrate and I am watching it rain....they are chowing down on BBQ and all the fixings and I am eating soup...oh well, at least I won't be giving anyone a bug....grin

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Venice, some people are just rude nasty and unpleasant and the best thing to do is steer clear of them. I have learned that you must be willing and able to back up your words if you choose to take folks like that to task.. Discretion is after all the greater part of valor....grin

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

So sorry that you have a bug also. It least I can help my Hiscus!! lol Hope you get to feeling better real soon.

I just stay clear of those kind of people.

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

trip stumble fall, sorry didn't mean to mess things up

(Zone 5b)

Venice how could anybody say mean nasty things about you?? She sounds like a very unhappy person, I'd stay clear too!
Hi Trina! You must be tired out, you should lay down & take it easy!
Moon sorry you're sick.

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

I'm agrravated and frustrated and just plain worn out....got some more boxes to pack...is today a holiday?

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Thanks, Lynnie and Venice...the bug doesn't bug me as much as missing Jason's b'day celebration, but like all other things of that nature, I will get over it...grin.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Yes that is a shame to miss your son's birthday. Maybe they can bring back some leftovers and cake so you can have it when you feel better. And you can visit him then.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I will see him later in the week when Jordan goes to spend T'giving with him. Just feeling sorry for myself....sniff,sniff...lol
