IT'S JUST THE GYSPY IN MY SOULFOOD

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

I don't think so, that would make good Christmas present or stocking stuffers, wish I had talent like that.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Its hard to find stuff you need in local stores. I have to go across town to get craft supplies and guess what, got the wrong glue sticks so will have to go back since K-mart quit selling stuff like that.

Glenview, IL

Did you join the Chrismas workshop?
Were making Snowmen items...lots of fun and really easy.

They are nice stocking stuffers...been thinking about it for the smokers in this house.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Do you make them out of grapevine?

Glenview, IL

HUH/ LOL are you talking to me...No beads, I must be tired, I'm lost.

Plus in last post, I was meaning lighter cases for smokers not key chains...lolol.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

no was going to but computer crashed and didn't know if I was gonna get it back up in time to join in. Bet yall are having a blast. That Betty is something else, reminds me of Martha Stewart.

Glenview, IL

Don't take this Badley...but heaven forbid! Martha Stewart, yukkk.

LOL. is our Energizer Bunny, Makes martha look slow.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Oh lol I just thought you had found another way to help them quit. Not many of us left anymore and guess thats a good thing. Sorry seed, daughter is on the phone and I need to pay attention she is taking me and grandkids to parade tomorrow. Have a good night if I don't get back in here and good luck with your projects I know they will turn out Grand.

Glenview, IL

I just got back home from you know where, GW! I found some porcelain flowers for my garden fairy. But they are attached to a tiny round container with lid. So I need to take the flowers off the lid without breaking them. I guess I will need to use crazy glue to attach them beside the fairy. Hot glue may break it from the heat.

Also, I got a Christmas box half price at Michael's. I don't know if any of you have one. But these boxes are very nice, in different sizes.

Now I am all finished with Christmas except for meeting lady to pick up Riley's tote with tools, finding some flowers to put in the tote, and make a trip to the Half Price Book Store.

I think all of you are very creative, in crafts, cooking, Christmas decorating, etc. I guess all of you have gone now. Have a good evening!

Well leave it to me to mess up a picture lol. Sorry I tried! Sweet dreams all, was short but fun as usual.

(Zone 5b)

good morning! Is everybody hibernating for winter already? :) Ok guess I'll just eat the last piece of cake myself...
Smiley how was your birthday?

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Morning Lynnie.
Frost on the windows here feel like hibernating.
I got coffee, no cake :(

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

good morning all. took me a while to catch up, but I'm up with a coffee cup in hand.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Alright been looking at my black friday ads and supposedly if you go to Walmart.com and put in your zip code you can get a map of the store showing where the specials are.
Don't work for me, anyone else want to try?

(Zone 5b)

JJ I admire your tenacity with the black friday sales...I cannot STAND crowds. lol
I just went to the gym, got a nice hot coffee I'll check that walmart site.

I don't even see a link to black friday sales.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I couldn't find any place to get that info either JJ. Maybe it is not available yet.

Good Morning All.
Smiley, How was the movie ? Hope you had a good time.

Lynnie, how sneaky to hide a slice of cake for Brekkies....grin Smart Girl.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

JJ, where did you see that you could get Walmart in-store map of Black Friday sales?

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I couldn't find anything either, JJ.

Moon, movie was just like twilight. The 2 main actors can't really act. Hormones all over the place, but it was entertaining. The most entertaining part was hearing all the girls in the audience hoot & holler when the 6 pack abs showed up.

The 3 of us girls at work passed the books around, that's why we're going to see the movies together. DD won't have anything to do with it.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Heaven Forfend!! Share hunky Vampire stories with her MOM?? That would be just so...so...well, won't even consider it....grin

Glad ya had fun with your friends.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Hi all!

Funny thing. I never watch QVC but I happened to flip to that station. They were advertising a purse with so many pockets just on the outside of it. Years ago my cousin showed us the new purse she just bought. She was saying how wonderful it was because all of the pockets. So she started counting all the pockets. She had 17 pockets, yes 17 pockets in that purse!!!! You had to have been there. It was so funny!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Good Morning Venice...17 pockets on a purse would mean a couple of things for me, one I would never be able to find anything, and two, it would be so full it would have to come with wheels...grin

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Ok the black friday ads you get on here. Click on black friday sales, then the store you want then adscan and you will see the ad, otherwise if you just click the store you just get a list. I was going through the walmart one when I seen to get the store layout. Maybe I was dreaming.

Lynnie I don't like crowds either. But I love a good challenge.

http://www.blackfriday.info/online/

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Moon, I know what you mean. How in the world could anyone find anything in that purse!!!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Wasn't that sneaky....I like that you can do a lot of that on-line. I am not a crowd fan either, and I do not handle rude or pushy....just not cut out for shopping wars...lol

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I used to carry a big purse/diaper bag when the kids were little...everything went into "our" purse, hence the half-eaten PBJ sanwich stuck to the checkbook...now my purse is big enough for wallet, keys, phone, CKBK and pen and maybe a tube of lipbalm and comb....everyone gripes they have no place to stash stuff, but I can walk upright again...lol

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Some of the stores will start selling the regular ad (not the doorbuster, usually) on Thanskgiving day, online.

And some will even sell the doorbusters right after midnight.

I have been lucky as far as rude and pushy go( only a couple of incidents, where I wanted to knock someone out, I didn't) and most the stores around here block off the entrance so you have to be in line to get in the store or wait until the people standing in line get in first.
I don't take my niece with me anymore cause she is one that ought to be knocked out!

Another tip if you can't find the size you want grab any size and exchange before Christmas and you still got the great price.
Always just by the early sale items and go back later for the all day items or you will be in line for hours. Better yet one of you stand by the checkout and just keep letting people go on front of you until the other one gets there with the goodies.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

I remember those days Moon.

(Zone 5b)

JJ you are a TRUE shopper good tips! lol
Moon, did I mention the crowd at the TSO, the man behind me seemed to think the small of my back was a good place for his pot belly....until I threw him an elbow. Nobody should be so close to me that I can feel the warmth of their skin through my coat unless they're related!

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

OOO Lynnie that is to close.
You are so short he must have really been hanging low!!!

If the kids wanted big ticket items that was the only way I could afford them .
Now its more like a game just to see if I can get everything on my list.
Heck my DH's friends bring me their lists now.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

JJ's Shopping Guide 101....love it JJ.

I am a real stickler about my personal space too Lynnie....Don't stand, don't stand so close to me....grin I have found foot stepping helps to create a bit of breathing room....lol

DH needs the desk....gotta go find where GS left the lap top.....back in a bit hopefully....grin

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

JJ, wow!!! You deserve the Best Shopper Award!!!

Talking about finding things in your purse. We went out to eat with relatives. My niece didn't finish her hamburger so I told her mom that I would just put it in my purse so she could eat it later. A couple days later I went to church. When I opened my purse to find an offering, there was the hamburger!!!! At least it wasn't as messy as a PBJ!!

(Zone 5b)

Venice, it that hamburger wasn't messier than a pbj then it wasn't greasy enough lol
uh oh...hunger kicking in.....so...where's Dixie today? *grin*
time for leftovers.....

Moon, you mean (gasp) with my favorite knee high stilleto heeled black leather designer boots?? I saved 3 months for those babies.

Blood washes off Lynnie...lol and most of the offenders are wearing shoes, so ya just have to catch a toe....grin

Venice, that is too funny. You should have seen the snooty sales clerk's face when that PBJ came out glued to the check book....lol

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Sorry to interrupt the fun but I can't remember what this plant is. I got it mixed up with the corn plant but that's not it.

Can someone ID this plant? Trina, I am sure you have one of these. Where are you?

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Will catch you all later.
Have to run some errands.
DH just ran off again. Guess I can't complain he's going to tear the oak trim and floor out of a house before they burn it down. Then in oh maybe 15 or 20 years mine will be done. Ha Ha

Took so long to get my porch put back on after he tore it off that no one could remember if I had a porch or what it looked like!

Suns shining YEAH

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

JJ, did you ever get that cherry picker??

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Have a great day, JJ....we all sympathize on the wait....the old saying about the mechanic's wife's car not running applies to carpenters too...grin

Let us see what we can do Venice...post the picture of your plant....
