Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Time ....Change

I'm stirring soup....guess what that giant bug is back! blech! Somebody come get it!

My big guy goes back to the vet early tomorrow morning to be operated on.
Vet tried to take a sample of it hoping it was just a cyst, but he had a real hard time getting the little that he did to put under a slide.
He thinks we may be dealing with sarcoma :-(

Now I have to figure out how I am getting him to the vet, picking up a sheet from my place of work to take to the health department, since they are finally planning on giving us the H1N1.............Oh wait, that is some of us. Found out they will go through some kind of health questioneer when we get there and decide on that who do give it to.........and that is from 3:30 to 4:30.
So am I making a wasted trip there?

And pick the big guy up at 3:40 pm, and go into work tomorrow night.

oh for heaven's sake Kassy doesn't that make you crazy? Can't they get that done before making people make a special trip?

No kidding Lynn, and my place of work is almost 30 miles from me, and I have to go there to pick up the sheet that says they are paying for it

Hi all. I'm back from my walk. Now I gotta put the Poo's to bed. Never a dull moment around here some times. Seems like there's always something to do even if it's nothing.

I am actually trapped in wild kingdom here today, but I'm not sure if its a jungle or a zoo.. or both!.....LOL

Kassy, best wishes for kitty. Lynnie that bug loves you. Just wants to be a part of the family. Glad to hear no one is really bad sick. Glad she is feeling better. Venice, I just her the Poo's into their little house. Most of the time they go in by them selves. I have to make sure that they have water and are all snuggled in for the night.

Yaaaa Kassy, There's life after all! Kassy, don't worry over Kitty too much. I had a little dog that had Parvo. We had to have him euthanized. I cried like a baby in the Vets. office. He looked at me and said . There is a place in the Bible where it says God has a place for the animals. That was so comforting for me. I truly hope kitty will have a lot of good years ahead. If not kitty will go to a good place. And I also hope you take comfort in that.

They meet us at the rainbow bridge.

We had to have my sons husky put to sleep about 2 years ago, and last year my BF's oldest cat that was my favorite, died in my arms.

I also have my moms dog and he has conjestive heart failure.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

That is just beautiful Kassy. And sort of how I picture things. But, boy what a reunion family and pets! What joy a soul must feel. Have to go and get things ready for work tomorrow. Prayers for kitty. Hang in there. After all ,kitty is just another part of Gods plan. We are all connected. Plants,animals,humans , the air that we breath. See ya tomorrow. and I need to go give a dog a pill now.

By this time tomorrow I will be giving them not only to the dog, but the cat too.
Anyone ever give a pill to a 19 pound cat that has claws and doesn't like taking pills?

yes it's not fun and the best I can tell you wrap the cat up real tight in a thick towel first, and fully expect to still need band aids...trust me it's worse when they way 32 pounds and look more like a miniature panther!

If I even close to Kitty's mouth, she will bite me and make me bleed. Or if I pet her more than 2 minutes exactly when she wants to be petted, same thing. Or if I leave the bedroom door open at bedtime, I will get holes in my legs. She has me well trained. Getting her into a pet carrier, I will get holes in my arms. She has really long nails and teeth. I wish I had a regular cat.

regular cats do the same thing! LOL

She would never sit on a lap. Honest, believe me, she is not like a regular cat!

We had one like that her name rhymed with Witch....meanest thing I think ever...only nice when she was in heat!

Kitty isn't mean. She just has her own ways. When she is awake she likes to be near me. Like laying all across my desk but not touching me. When I go to the bathroom sometimes she does also or she just lays in the tub. When I am outside doing gardening, many times she is laying on the patio. But she will certainly let me know when she needs more food or when she wants to go outside or inside.

yeah I have often said that cats hear thier own drums and they don't beat quite like ours LOL!

OMG I've planted 52 starts and plants and I am not even close to done!
