Stay out of those fast food joints Trina! The food is not good for you, and you won't have to worry about someone putting things in your food.

Disgruntled workers in fast food restaurants are the most likely to do something malicious to your food.
Human saliva, blood, and urine are some of the most common things placed in fast food.
If the glass got into your food maliciously, that is a criminal act!

Not really complaing about the warm temps I like it. Just don't want to lose a bunch of plants to a fast winter freeze while they are growing and blooming like its springtime.

The final step in making Chocolate, is adding flavoring.

Vanilla extract is the standard flavoring. Ginger, orange peel, chopped nuts, cinnamon, cardamom, coffee, chili pepper, dark rum, etc. are all good additions to the mixture.

Crinum & Hymenocallis species are warm temperate to tropical plants. I think you may need to grow them indoors in large pots. Both Genera love water.

I was thinking when I read that about the glass,I could smell a law suit waiting to happen. On my job I have learned a lot. If I told you some things about these fast food places you would probably be sick. Yes, Venice I have a few plants in my house. Most are out though.

After the Chocolate is flavored and blended, it is cooled down and placed into molds, or formed into bars or patties.

Once it has cooled and hardened, it is ready to be sampled!

Will cacao set if you use honey instead of sugar Dave?

Certainly Jean! I use raw honey that has been sitting for some time and has crystallized. The trick is to slowly heat & blend the mixture. Good Chocolate never gets done in a hurry.

That is neat to know...I prefer honey to refined sugar, and even to Raw sugar.
