Can't stay and play anyway.
Girls are here from Chicago( since it rained last weekend) and I am getting ready to leave on the scenic drive. There will be alot of hot chocolate drinking today.

High is going to be 48. Right now it is down right freezing. So many layers can't waddle.
Sounds like fun... right?

It's 48 here today with a high of 55. There's snowflakes in the forecast for Thursday night, though.

Only as a small child. Moved to LA from Illinois when I was 6. Of course, the only times I was back up North in winter were for parents' funerals....of course it was miserable cold and snowy ...sort of fitting I guess.

my doors were frozen shut too...had to take the 14 yo to school for cross country he made sectionals and they are today....stupid winter, we completely skipped fall!

Moon If I don't get my tulips and hyacinths planted can I overwinter them in the house? I don't want to but it's darn cold outside

They would do better if you over wintered them in the fridge as they need temps below 40 degrees to bloom. If ya can, wait for a dry sunny day and try to get them planted. Otherwise, chill them away from any fruit, especially apples.
