Well, there is no way I'm going to keep up with this....
I'm back at work and need my sleep. Won't be off until this coming wednesday and then have a meeting to go to that day for work......so in all reality, I'm not done working until wednesday afternoon.
Maybe I'll catch up with all of you about 5 theads from now..........LOL
That is if I'm not frozen.
Tonight 31 then dropping to 26 on saturday night, and we may be about freezing again next wednesday :-(

Hi dee Hi, every one. Dave's Sylvester looks like something that would be in a H.P.Love craft book. Spooky. Trina ,I hide Pepper Ridge farm cookies to. My favorites are the chocolate chip .Macadamia nut , and the Milano. If some one goes hunting for them they will draw back a nub. Booby traps. Grin. I just keep them hidden so no one knows I have them but me. Have the oldest grand today.She is staying the night as well. So I'll be busy a while. Catch up with every one later.

They bombed the moon to see if there was ice under the crust.

NASA has way too much money! Maybe next they could deliver flood lights and light up the dark side of the Moon!

Well, actually they were looking for water so that when we travel beyond that, we would have a water supply. $600M!

Ok I am not a smart person so lets just get that out of the way now, However, if I am not mistaken, the water on our Earth is controlled by the Moon, the ebb and flow and tides, and The Moon has a huge influence on all water on this planet....Humans are 80% water, we know the Moon influences Humans just watch people on a full moon....

Ok so they bombed the Moon, did they consider that even the slightest shift of the Moon is going to affect EVERY life form on earth? I mean we don't even Kinow how or what it is about the Moon that affects all bodies of water and life forms on this planet or what other purpose the Moon serves yet, so lets blast it with bombs and see how much more we could ge screwed up, yeah sounds like a plan

My mistake. It is only $79M. The bomb was going to make a 5 mile crater which does not affect rotation of it or the earth or does not have any other affect.

About three years ago I took a NASA funded project to court to stop them from destroying a rare Pu'u, to obtain a soil that under spectroscopy resembled Mars dust. The Pu'u (Pu'u Nene) is sacred to Hawaiians.
NASA wanted the soil to do things such as "learn how to grow potatoes in space".
I tried to stop them under the argument that they were trying to commercialize our Conservation Districts.
In court I was no match for their high priced lawyers.

someone asked me whta I thought of all this strange weather and stuff that we've been having (doing the end of the world crud basically) and to be honest...I think the Earth is trying to clense herself, like deer when there are too many they change how much you can hunt and kill. I think the Earth is trying to let us know she's still in charge here

Dave, I am all for space exploration, look what the Hubbell has found, but destroying a rare plant on Earth for speculation isn't viable in my opinion.

I was in a "mini space camp" in school in 5th grade, studied NASA intensively 1/2 the year. Probably why my geography stinks.

I think space exploration / observation is important, but should also be practical. We can do space research right here on this planet just as well as we could from the Moon.

Looking for water on the Moon or growing potatoes in space is pretty stupid to me.
