Moon, Sideways is a quirky wine movie. I personally loved it, but know a few people who "didn't get it".

Smiley, Vog is volcano smoke....I would only eat the soaked walnuts as I gave up drinking back in 1990. I have probably had enough alcohol, if you combine it all since 1990 to maybe fill a wine bottle...before that I was a Tequila girl....straight up or Margarita on the rocks, EASY salt...and on a party weekend a fifth was in serious danger....grin

Never really gave drinking much thought...okay if we do, okay if we don't, but when it got to the point where I did think about it, and actually wanted a drink, I knew it was time to walk away....went for three years with nothing stronger than coffee or tea before I even considered it again. We get together twice a year with friends for Night of the Living Nacho...then I have a single Margarita. Once in a Blue Moon....pun intended, I might add a shot of Khaluha or Bailey's Irish Cream to my coffee. (I have a fifth of each I got for my 50th birthday) grin

I like it... Night of the Living Nacho! DH asked when the last time I had a drink was. I said it's nothing I really think about, couldn't tell him.

How lucky for you...will he clean the kitchen too, or do ya get that cheery little task? I cook....I clean. Jim cooks....I clean.

Bill will do everything but cook. he's afraid to do that, with good reason. he gets angry if I clean, but then says it looks so much nicer when I do it.

the wandering jew grows depending on light...less light less growth more light more growth...very easy plants to take care...and I never turn down a plant..if you want to send the spider plant send it....if you don't want to send it then don't....all up to you.

Putting things away and the all important wiping things off....ya know, wipe the stove and counters and if ya dripped on the counter or cabinet.....It is dishes in the dishwasher until it is full, rest in the sink until there is room in the dishwasher....and I know he was raised better than that....grin

I dont drink much at all Smiley. Hubby and I had a couple of Mint Juleps back in the middle of the summer one eve. Pretty much been there done that back in my late teens and early 20s. Will have a glass of wine from time to time. Im 52 now. A bad hang over would probably kill me. Moons, Night of The Living Nacho sounds like fun. Sounds a lot better than the Morning , Of The Living DEAD. Which is what I would be if I drank to much. If I ever do go off the deep end and need a DD I'll call ya Smiley. Grin. I just bet though if we all got together we would have a blast. Im crazy enough with out drinking. I think hubby and I need to get out and do something soon. We tend to hang around home to much at times. We need a change of scenery now and then. We will have to make a plan and run away for a week end together.

we need someone to mapquest it out for us! start up in MA with Lynnie, etc... etc... and we can end it in Hawaii.

Can't get use to this thing,Iclicked all the way oout and had to log baxck in and can't get finfgers right on this keyboard as you can see lol. I will be doing more reeadinfg and less talking until mine gets back.

hard....yesterday was miserable!...but on the plus side I got plants today....a High color musa banana...and the daylillies came....I was expecting 2 clumps of 4 of the little grapette but the one has at least 12 different sets of green nubbins trying to grow!!!!
so now dumb question...how deep do I plant these? do I cover the nubbins....help!!!

Night of the living Nacho is a trek through the various Mexican restuarants in town. We pick three, one for appetizers, one for entrees and one for dessert....a moveable feast so to speak....then we all wind up back at someone's house for coffee and cards or music, etc. been doing that for the past twenty years or so....good way to stay connected and we schedule away from vacations and holidays so no interference with family stuff.

Plant only to the crown. Any deeper and the crown will develop rot.

I reallly don't know JJ. The problem is the laptop is on the desk where monitor usually is and I'm having to reach up to type. I would put it down on the keyboard drawer but cable won't reach I don't think, may try it later and see. Just didn't want to rock the boat so to speak since it took me so long to get it going the first time lol.

It is a good time, Flowers. We also had "Godzirrah" Night (with apologies to all of Japanese descent) where we did the local Chinese/Japanese restuarants and then retired to someone's home to watch old Godzilla movies. The Lebanese/Greek food night was called "Belly Food Dance" night and ended at one of the local coffee houses that occassionally had a belly dancer perform. Good friends, good food, good fun.

I live vicariously through you all....LOL
