Well Ladies,

I will be going out Thursday evening to meet Dave. I wanted to meet tonight he couldn't, then he wanted to meet Tuesday night after bowling I can't (mom) then Wednesday I'm surppose to see Steve, so I told Dave Thursday and that if he didn't want to and to just forget ever meeting I would understand. He said I wasn't getting off that easy, I had committed to meeting him, lol. Soooooooo this will be interesting.

Pegi, this one here is also an Angel Wing begonia. From Lowe's but the 'wings' are smaller and the stems are not as cane-like as the large Angel wing I had.

Well ladies - you with the Cane Begonias - I'm pleased as punch to find there are people who KNOW what they look like. You're right - big box stores have No Idea..
It seems every 10 years I can find one. Not letting this one out of my sight lol
I cut some off and am rooting it to send to a DGer who is looking for one.
Mine came from a DGer in Calgary - she dropped it off for me ^_^
I guess they fell out of favour because if you don't water it, it gets gangly looking.
It was very popular in the 50's & 60's so it's called a granny plant. People seem to be wanting the more modern versions.......... tiny insects of plants LOL

Now I hope that nursery will sell it next year Susan. When it does, you can bet I'll be sharing cuttings.

Sory Im not keeping up much But Im trying.. lol

Jaye Work is still slow but Im sticking it out as best I can and just smiling through the days. Yesterday I did a whole $36 all day uuggghhh Hard to sit when know I could be out making money doing something else.. I have people comming back to see me and asking for me but its hard on slow days like yesterday.

I promise I will Take time to relax and wind down soon.. I enjoy the garden work so thats kinda my down time.. lol

Wwwaaaaaaa I'm not going to be around Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday :(

Judy the conference doesn't start until Thursday at noon, ends Friday at noon. I'm just packing up. Me and a co-worker Lisa, the one I share jobs with, are leaving tomorrow afternoon and hopefully will be in Memphis by dinner time, we're going to go out to dinner and have German Food. YUM!!

So here was my night last night:

I was on facebook last night and my good friend in CA said she posted pictures on MySpace. I haven't been on myspace in about a year, but I wanted to see so I went over there, logged in, and had a slew of emails, one of them being from my violent ex-boyfriend Scott. The poor guy is Bipolar and Paranoid Schizophrenia and very dangerous, of course I dated him when I was 24, 25, and 26 and I knew he was Bipolar without medication but the Schizophrenia hadn't came out yet. I was always dodging objects, he really liked taking a 6 pack of Pepsi in the cans and spinning them in the air and wherever they land is where they landed. I got good at dodging. Anyway, when I broke up with him and kicked him out of my house he told me he was going to burn my house down with me in it, so I stayed at a co-workers house and ended up dating him for 5 years lol. To make a long story short, my best friend/brotherly type Steve decided that his wife Tara, who was a Psychiatry Major in Jr. College, said that it was me, not Scott, and moved him in with them. Needless to say that 10 year friendship with Steve went down the toilet, and about 6 months later Scott was going to jail for flashing little girls because the voices told him to. Of course Steve tried to apologize without apologizing but it was done, I can't be friends with someone who is going to take sides like that, he knew me better than that.
Scott used to be super skinny always wearing skin tight Wranglers and t-shirts, always looked nice. His picture on myspace shows him in the mountains somewhere, he got fat and is balding, has a camouflage wife beater with khaki's, and prison tattoos, and now he knows where I am. The email had the subject line of "Tiga" and he said, "How are you and Tiga doing?" My picture that shows on my profile is a wedding pic so it's very clear to everyone, and I'm sure he knows I'm in AR now. I think I'm going to run a background check on him to see exactly how much trouble he's been in and if he is a Registered Sex Offender. His name is Scott Eugene Naylor.

I am Crissy, but Dave and I had made plans 2 weeks ago to meet. So I am. I don't think we will hit it off though he is kind of military type wears a Marine hair cut. And I found out that where he works he is really rude to the customers. So we'll see. Steve is talking about when "we" move to.................so I'm thinking he is seeing a future with me. He wants to get out of California. But it won't happen for a couple of years yet. But I'm thinking next year he will be going on the road, and if we are still seeing each other I'm going with him.

When I first asked what it was, I was shocked when the nurserylady said Begonia. I was used to the box store ones. She said the bigger leaved are the original Begonias.

Well my 3b-house swap buddy finally got her box.
When I received my beautiful birdhouse from Betty. Kel and I were truly awed... He decided that I can't do less for my swap buddy.
So Betty, if you're lurking... thank you for being the catalyst to his creativity.

I can now safely show you all what Kel did for her. Yep, he made this butterfly house from scratch. Even painted the monarch on a separate piece of wood.
Excuse the clutter surrounding it.

Crissy, do you carry a 'piece'? I'm not for firearms, but if I were you and he's aware of where you are.. I'll start carrying one or notify the local police.

The monarchs are on the move and we had swarms of them around the butterfly bushes during our little RU here on Saturday. It was really cool.

I can't understand why I'm seeing less monarchs around here, until I caught one of the 5 kitties outside, jumped in the air and pounced upon one! Already no birds are seen this year I do hope they hadn't kill them all. Lots of sulphurs though, cause they love the tall gingers.

Oooh.. you must hate the thought of covering the pond. Enjoy it longer if you can. Too beautiful to be netted.

Think this year will be like last year. No changing of color.. from green straight to bare limbs :(

Last year it was so dry here, that the only color we had in the leaves was Brown. Then gone....with the amount of rain we've had, I'm hoping for some good color this year!

Hey JoyceT, I am doing fine. Thanks. How are you doing? We don't have trees here to change color, and I sure do miss it, so if any of you have pictures, please post them here. would love to see what I am missing. The only trees we have are Arizona ash, and they just drop the leaves when it gets cold. Right now, they are shedding all those little propeller things, and they get all over the place!

Starting Monday I'll be taking over the job of Teleconference Admin, and all my "help" has dropped out of this bldg. I got rather terse with one of them, and she came back whining that she'll help if I get "stuck" - As If I Would Ask Her. She'll only return the equipment and I'd still have to set up and take down. What help is that going to be? I'd still have to be there on both ends of the teleconference.......
10 hrs/week added to my workload and she thinks carrying the equipment one way is going to help?!?!?!

Ah well........I'm getting back to work.

Was a really cool day here today and apparently the weather is scaring away all teh customers.. was et another day of not making much.. Just stinks that Im always waiting on it when the rent is comming due.. To top it all off I came home to a shut off notice on the water and gas because my lanlord didnt bring me a bill so now I have to come up with an additional 207 on top of the rent due by the 6th.. ugghhh I just need a break from all this.. I cant wait until my mom gets here and we can spend some fun time together,,, Only have to wait unti lteh 10th and we will be okay..

Well gonna run for now.. I need to dig out my fall decor and get a few pictures hung and the living room in order..

Hello Ladies,

Boy I tell ya there is always something happening. I have been waiting for an order of daffodil bulbs that were mailed out on Sept12. Well they went to my old address in Marysville. So I called the jerk this morning to see if they were there. Yep sure enough, told him to send them on and he said nope. Man I've had it with him telling me no I can't have my stuff. So I called the sherriff. LOL, about 20 mintues later as I'm pulling into the bowling alley parking lot the sherriff calls me. Asked me what the box was that I wanting, told him and the whole time I was on the phone with him I could hear Rick in the background yelling about something. So the sherriff got the box and i went down there and got them this afternoon. I told Rick to never make me mad. I should of told the sherriff to look for pot while he was there could got him busted too. DRATS!!!! That's the Gemini in me.

Now onto a sadder note. My daughter's mother in law, laid down yesterday afternoon for a nap and has not woke up yet. I'm thinking she has slipped into a coma. They have Hospice coming there so they should know, wouldn't they? So I may not be going camping this weekend.
