i havent been on much last couple days been feeling under the weather. think my daughter gave me her cold.

just havent been feeling up to nothing even in the yard.

Sorry you are feeling ill, Rie. Take good care of yourself...if you start running a fever and get congested, see your doctor as those are symptoms of H1N1 and it is by far better to be safe and told you have a cold, than to be really ill and have it spread. Feel better soon....Jean

I have looked at all kinds of things to put my leaves in and burn. I really need just a incense burner that you put those tiny cones in. So many things looked good but might break or metal with holes too low. I don't want to set anything on fire! Since you are the dollar store queen, would they have one of those there? Or any other place to look? I just want one of those cheapy brass ones made in China.

Venice, check out the Oriental import stores for an inexpensive brass bowl to use to hold your herbs. Just set it on a ceramic tile or stone coaster to keep the heat from marring the surface of your counter or furniture.

I don't know, but it was too depressing.....and then the idiots put latex paint over enamel, so of course it started peeling and bubbling....arrrgh. The blood red paint was applied over flocked wallpaper....another long involved project...ugghh.

I do not envy you there...that's just so wrong...as my son would say it ran by thewrong salad bar and got dipped in extra wrong sauce

A long time consuming process on the walls, and eventually the kitchen will get remodeled....just a drag....but the price was right, so it was a trade off.

Okay. My moment is over. I was actually talking to someone on 9/11 that was about 2 blocks from ground zero. She had to hang up because the building was shaking, stuff was flying and they were evacuating. I often send a silent blessing her way because she sounded so confused and scared. (at that point they didn't know what was going on)

It met all of DHJim's requirements....I bought the house before he even saw it...working turnarounds....but have to say it was not for the decor....grin

My husband decided this was the house for us before he saw the inside. Kind of the same deal going as Moon, a fixer-upper. We had paint-wallpaper-paint-wallpaper-and more paint going on. But we bought for the location, anyways.
