Good ole' Queen Anne's Lace. I think weeds are the only native plant in this area. Yes I know, weeds are nothing more than flowers in the wrong place.

the second one I have never seen here, but the third one comes complete with bees here......................LOL

if you take dandelion stems and split them up the sides and put them in water they will curl up. When I was a kid we would make elaborate necklaces & bracelets. You can split them several times, as far up as you want, and connect the stems. Depending on how thin/thick you make the splits, and how long you keep them in the water is how curly they will get.

Just throwing it out there for kids fun....

For those of you who may need a second job. When I got done pulling weeds today the gentleman of the house said I done a good days work and told his wife to pay me. I said no but he insisted that I worked hard and deserved $1.50 an hr even if I didn't think so.

Kassy the neighbor had a poppy when she moved. She don't have it anymore.
Did ya know they look like thistles when they first come up?? Someone should have told me what kind awhile back.LOL

BF said if it flowers it is not a weed................so we have WEED CITY!!!!........................LOL

LOL, you know, I had to tell my DIL what was a weed in the veggie garden and what was not. By the end of 2 years, she had it down pat.

LOL JJ that poppy is a peony poppy.
BF had them and had forgot what they were called. Now we have a ton of them.
This one spang up in the veggie garden. I usually empty my flower pots onto it in the fall. So the seed must have drifted into one of the pots. But it was cute, with the squash in the back ground ^_^

That is one pretty flower. I just played dumb when she wondered where hers went. As soon as I seen where she was looking for it, I knew I did a boo-boo.
