WOW! I just downloaded firefox. I don't know if anyone still uses IE, but what a browsing difference!

Our laptop has Firefox as its' browser and I prefer it hands down to IE.....never freezes or drops out and seems to run much faster. I think you will enjoy using it Julie.

this thing has IE, but the home puter can't use firefox or IE becasue of my iPod it uses safari

So no Philodendron for venice, ok I still have a ton of other stuff

And I just got my 3 new plants delivered about an hour ago

Jean, just get a computer that is geared up for gaming on the net.
Trust me, you will never have a problem with IE...........LOL
And If I hop over onto my sons compter, it's faster yet.
I know he runs both IE and firefox.

The PC runs both Kassy, it was just on the laptop that we had to switch over to Firefox. Either that or learn how to put the laptop back together after DHJim slams it into a wall in a fit of pique cuz it lost another document in IE ether....grin

JJ, I got lucky with that butterfly. He/she stayed at my butterfly bush for a long time. It was just hard to get the one with the wings open, because he/she opened them only for a short time every now and then..

You would be surprised at the thinks I pulled up on my BF's computer that he didn't know where there. And things that he has saved that he didn't know where they went to..........LOL

When the cpu tells you it has encountered a problem and must shut down, and then does so, it is IE. Jim has been working with computers since he learned main frame programming in 1969 in college. He does not suffer fools and recalcitrant cpu programs gladly.....he ofter refers to Bill Gates as the anti-christ of the cyber world....

That's probably why he builds all our computers, or at least most of them.
He was going to try to fix one for someone else, and he can't even get into it. The last person who worked on it installed a password, and the owner has no idea what the password is. So other then putting a new motherboard in it, it had now become a big door stop :-o

That sort of action should be illegal, Kassy. It is akin to locking another mechanic out of the engine compartment of your vehicle.....the owner should take his cpu in and demand the password be removed or at the very least that he be given said password. It is sort of like blackmail.

I'll bet that's why hubby's music sites have issues. IE. I'm going to download that firefox when I get home.

It has never given us any trouble, Julie, and my husband uses it for all his internet stuff....even MSNBC....LOL

The first thing you do is sit down and take a long hard look at the situation and your options and weigh the pros and cons of both.

I can't see any pros about staying, because his kids are not a good enough reason to stay, and my mental health won't last that long if i tried to stay for that

This is a decision you must make based on your feelings and experience. All I can offer in the way of advice is to say speak honestly from the heart and without anger or accusation. Tell him your feelings and what you see as the solution to the problems and take it from there. I am sorry your relationship has come to this point.
