Victor, your pic is pretty, but I'm not ready for fall yet.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

You did not post a fall pic, did you??? I can not look!!!

Andy, that person sounds really unbalanced. How about a restraining order?

Yonkers, NY(Zone 5b)

I'm putting glue on my calendar so I can't change it next week.
Will THAT delay autumn?

Nancy

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Worth a try.

Thomaston, CT

I like the cartoon "Jumpstart"--the little guy was pasting leaves back on the tree--I know how he feels, especially today with this cold rain---had hot soup for lunch!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I officially defered it until November.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Walgreens has Halloween/ Thanksgivings decorations out, so it’s officially Fall.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Surprised no Christmas stuff yet!

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Next week after Labor Day Victor, ho ho ho.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Happy Belated Planet Pluto Day! (how could I miss this important event when I had it starred in my calendar!) On August 24, 2006 some weinerbrain astronomers decided that Pluto was no longer a planet. Since we never gave them permission to mess with our solar system AND since Plutonians had no say whatsoever, henceforward August 24th will be universally celebrated as Planet Pluto Day.

Details on a Pluto parade and feast to follow after consulting with Plutonians.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Lesser known is the proclamation the same day that Pluto was also no longer Micky's dog.

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

My little guy = Storm Danny

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Hi y'all reporting in from Northeaster Florida. Sorry to tell you there are already signs of a early fall down here. I was out pulling a few weeds and I found that my daffodils are already coming up. They are a couple of months early

♫Roll out those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer
Those days of soda and pretzels and beer
Roll out those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer
Dust off the sun and moon and sing a song of cheer.... ♫

Maples are turning colors also!!! LOL

That might be just to much or not enough rain, it can not make up it's mind down here.

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

D'nut,
I'm betting we got a lot of warm weather to come yet. We still have catching up to do from May, June & July. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it)

North Augusta, ON

Last 2 nights here have been below 45F...daily highs in the high 60's...I hate to say it but it even smells like Fall...

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I'm really happy about the trip.

East Bridgewater, MA

In terms of weather, this has been the most unusual spring/summer in the past 20 years.

Or is it just my imagination?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

it's not your imagination .. wacky year

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Yay! Ge & Deb!!! I can't wait to meet you both!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Mamas & Papas dnut? Don't forget we can get lucky and have some nice indian summer weather this fall I hope.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i hope we get an indian summer to extend the veggy garden a bit - still waiting on eggplant - love fall although i get a bit depressed seeing everything drop.

Thomaston, CT

Love the crispy apples---let's see ---that's about it! Bring summer clothes to Louise's too, Jo Ann---last year at Candyce's it was very hot in the sun. I'm hoping for a few beach days in K-port.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Great time at the Yankees game today. A one-hitter. Too bad Mitre got hit in the arm and could not finish. Here he is delivering a pitch.
