You cannot get the Henry's via road...boat traffic and planes...Georgian Bay airlines take you in for the 'all you can eat pickerel ' meal, tour of Georgian Bay for $185.00 which includes eats....

You can barely make it out, had hoped this photo would do the Inuchuck justice...to the left and then the right of the green grass he stands tall welcoming all to the islands.

time to get cooled down...

Time to leave, sun was just setting for the evening..

Fun had by all, Melanie and Kyle decided to leave on the party boat...leaving me and Greg to have time together...

Was having a fast but enjoyable ride home until I saw the 60mph on the dash..yuk..too much speed for this old gal..had to remind Greg..

As we neared home the view was spectacular...

No words to describe this view...

Bev, tell Scotty I'm sending big hug...rose shrubs amazing..saw all the buds but still can't believe all those roses...

Well it's that time of night, I've had quite the weekend..

Best of the day..enjoying all that the Lord has provided...

Worse of the day...well maybe not worse of today, know that tomorrow I'll be sore...wind burnt...

What did I learn..can't plant 4 trees, make birdhouse if you go gallavanting around Georgian Bay..but that's ok..there is always tomorrow...

Good Lord willing, we'll gab tomorrow...

Betty - what a wonderful and gorgeous day...you make me long for the old days...used to do the boat thing every weekend...It's so strange...to think that folks in Canada are having hot days...and can swim...I just always think of the north as so cold! We used to go to a bar on the river ....could only get there by boat..."Blind RIver Bar"...Cajun folks would dance around... Good times...

Hey Judy; When is Jakes first game? I know you told me which position ...he's a big kid isn't he...linebacker or something. Our Jamboree is Aug 28th...

DH's Bday dinner was great...his fav restaurant...the kids met us there...everyone 'got along' great...I even texted the kids to Thank Them for getting along....

Got him a fishing shirt and a cute card with fish jokes (Audio card). He got back today...brought back a lot of tuna. I made spaghetti tonight...but we'll have tuna steaks tomorrow...Trisha - folks....? any great tuna steak recipes out there?

Hey Trisha - I wanted to surprise you...but I have to tell you...I finally mailed the package yesterday....You would all laugh SO much at me if I went through the "play by Play " of sending it... I guess I didn't seal the wet roots very well...so ready to leave with the box...and water has seeped out and the box is wet! So what does Mary do? Cover it up with Duct tape of course....

If these plants actually make it up there and grow for you....I will be pleased as punch...

But please be honest...I have this thought...where the water continues to seep out and the postal service throws it in the trash...OR you receive it and the plants are completely goners....

This is fun though to see what happens...my first time ....

All of Bill's employees just left...once a month they have a shop meeting and I feed the whole bunch....pasta, salad, bread and drinks for about ten people!!! Ms. Meow is quite happy that all are gone and her world is back to normal again....she is not a people cat.

Morning, just dropping in for quick 'hi' did't want to get up but guess I must...

Mary, temp guage at Henry's Fish Fry read 92 yesterday and the Bay was at 70 so all enjoyed their swimming..didn't bring my bathing suit but enjoyed watching everyone..

Lot's of memories when Roger and I would boat..now I see the kids going through same..about 4 boats are travelling to Kilbear Park long weekend spending a few nights...guess we had our time, now theirs..but I do enjoy getting out for a few days here and there...

I'm so laughing at your plant packing, will be interested in seeing if you receive it ... you could have put them in ziplock bags.

DH was pleased with his fishing trip then? Probably will want to do it next year as well seeing as he brought home tuna..

Jan who was with us yesterday said she purchased a trip for her mom's 78 th birday and she received a text that her mom was up in a hot air balloon and enjoying..Melanie/Greg started asking the cost, I spoke up very quickly, 'if you are thinking of getting me such a gift, I'd not enjoy!' ladder terrifies me, can't imagine being that high..

Mary, sounds as though you put in quite a day cooking! Thought you were going to take it easy on the weekend..

Hi All! Went MIA for the weekend, if we even had a weekend, I think I missed it.

LOL Tubby!! Thanks for giving me a happy eye opener, Lord knows I don't get it here.

I did a lot of yard work Saturday, Dave weedeated and I supervised, caught him going between plants twice, yelled at him both times and told him he needs constant supervision. I'm worried, he got a full nights sleep last night and was up by 7 this morning with nothing to do, I'm afraid I'm going to go home and find no weeds, and no plants to go with it.

Looks like everyone had a good weekend, glad to see it, thanks for the pics Betty, awesome sunset!

I've a boat load of work to do, and I'm going to visit my mom next weekend, I'm thinking about taking half of Thursday and all of Friday off, going for Thursday night and Friday night, and come home Saturday morning, otherwise I'll take half of Friday and all of Monday, I'd rather have Sunday at home than Monday. They're retired so it really doesn't matter to them. If I wait much longer it's going to be too close to the conferences to take any time off, and I have one hour shy of 3 days.
