86 I did manage to get out & retrieve an iris seedpod--only 14 seeds. But it ireally too hot for me to work.
at 8:30 the temp read 110 in the sun - at 11 is was 115 in the sun - sun dipped behind the house and it is only 99 - need to get wet
Hot and steamy here. Bad day to have to bake all afternoon. Going to see my first law clerk and her family in Vermont for the day tomorrow....baked blueberry muffins and an apple pie.....can't eat either....off the sugar and only very low carbs for awhile. Didn't really want to snitch though....guess that's a really good thing! LOL Our new driveway gets its top coat on Monday. Yahoo! I love watching the big equipment!!

The fair is done! The weather was gpretty good until today when we packed up for home. It was hot!

Yup, ditto! lol 72 now but sticky, going up to 92 but I rufuse to complain still. Yes it's hot but it's better than s**w. Besides, these think it's finally hot enough to bloom.

Same old here too. Hot and humid. Thought I was getting a handle on the weeds with the less rainy days but all has come to a stand still pretty much until the sticky icky days go away.
Right--weeds are on their own--not going outside to work with them.
it is very hot and humid out there just like the last three days - did do a couple hours of weeding yesterday and it was brutal - will tackle that dl bed today after my bike ride - then off to jump in a river!!
It's about 90 here. DH isn't happy as he is trying to unpack from the county fair. We take a camper out there because of taking care of the horse all week and showing most of the week too.

Too hot for h---- here today. Over 90 and scary humid. Going out to some cool restaurant tonight with neighbors whose house has no a/c. They invited us to dinner at their house........ummmmm, how about we just go out dutch????? OK! Yay!!!!

i found myself in the house yesterday afternoon - strange for me too - just too hot and humid out there!!
We ended up with rain this afternoon. It lasted till about 6pm. Didn't help the humidity!

A cool 67 degrees now. Sunny and 90s again here today and very humid. Did try to weed a little yesterday after watering a few things, lasted about 15 minutes. Chance of rain and t-storms tomorrow.
