84 63% humidity
Went thru one rain shower on the way home from an outing.
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 51
Nice ocean shots maniac.
Still hot and humid and still no rain. Grrrr.
Great shots, Maniac---I just heard 12 swept off of rocks at Acadia---2 missing. It is thundering & raining right now---don't think we've missed a shower this summer.
One guy fishing washed off rocks out on the cape too. CG called fishing boats and one picked him out of the sea. More lucky than smart. Hope they find those two up there also.
Some of those green blobs on the weather radar NW of here, hope they move south and water my garden.
Very muggy all day, though not too hot.
We had on and off rain all day.
News reports kept broadcasting to stay off the rocks. Can fish another day. Tree damage in Maine listed for the road which friends live on; hope not their trees.
nice shots Maniac ... it was either pouring or disgustingly humid outside here today
Thanks Ramona for the lovely coastal shots. Unfortunately too many people think it's great to get near the coast line during a storm. One 7 year old girl from New York lost her life at Acadia this weekend due to that fact. Actually 4 were swept into the ocean but only one died. The park officials tried to keep the spectators away but over 1000 flocked to that one area...it's impossible to keep an eye on them all!

Kennebunkport was beautiful yesterday with the high surf. It's not usually the locals that end up in the water. It's people from away who don't recognize the ominous strength of the ocean. Very sad story indeed. Today it's hot and humid once again!
You are so right LH! I had to ask what was the father of the 7 year old thinking???
I think that the 7 year old was visiting with a family friend-- not the father
Oh, the news said it was her father who was swept into the ocean with her, but the 12 year old that was swept in also is not related.
DH had just mentioned on Friday night how thunder hole would be amazing to watch but way to dangerous to get close. He can't believe how true his words were.
Thunderhole on a fairly calm day can be rough... I got soaked to the bone.. lol!
Little chill in the air this AM waiting for the school bus for 1st day of 1st grade for my son.
High of 86, chance of t-storms(so what else is new?)
Why would you let a 7 yr old so close to the rough water?
Not I Flowerjen...
About the same here for the weather but there is talk of 60's for Friday...
And 40 degree nights!!!
I can breathe today!! The humidity is wwaaayyy down and the windows are open. Hooray!!! Currently 70.
Glad it so nice for you down there, Jan.
How horrible about the little girl.
70 and overcast. Less humidity today. Even better - upper 70's starting Thursday!
It was a 'viewing area'. So people think it is all right, not knowing or listening to warnings about extra high tides.
Was your son excited about school starting? DH is. Today he pretty much just hands out books and reads them the riot act, etc. After the assembly and stuff, he said he will have about 8 minutes with each class. :) DH will only have about 95 students total this year. AP calc II only has 3 students.
Mom's RN just left and it's still nice outside, so see you later.
Good that he has the 3 advanced students & great for them to have it on their transcript for college.
He was super exicted esp to be able to take a bus this year. We're out in the boonies so I was surprised when they had a bus to come pick him up....I did kinda like getting the rebate, though.
Wow - school already?! Two more weeks for us.
Only three students! Tough to hide.
The up side is he gets out earlier than all the other schools.
Now hopefully it won't rain the entire month of June so we can plan a vaca for 2010.
Hurricane Bill did not dampen my daughters wedding yesterday - the reception was on the water in Nahant and the surf should make a good back drop for her pictures. They are off to Greece this afternoon - hope those fires are under control by tomorrow.
DD starts wed. She graduates in June. Where does the time go? It was 55 last night. 72 now.
Congrats, Bill. I hope they have a good time!
Glad she had a good day, Bill.
Congrats, dad! How many left??
Thx everyone - they had a great day. and there are two more daughters left, i was reminded about that a couple times yesterday.
Oh Bill im so glad it worked out for DD's wedding!! Nothing worse than weather ruining her special day. ^_^
Ha ha ha on 2 more to go...me too! Well as of next month, one more to go and she's getting married next year.
Lucky you celeste!!
i'm hoping the next two ellope - having to deal with the x-wife is impossible - from money, where to sit in the church, to the seating plan which i did not look into only to find my family was pushed to the side and under speakers - while her family all had tables at the windows over looking the water.
No large rocks overlooking the ex's house, Bill?? ^_^
i could only wish - it has been over 15 years and the immaturity of this women never fails to amaze. at least the kids see it now.
Nice shot, Bill! Especially with the rocks behind you.
By the way, you remind me of some actor, Bill. Trying to remember who it is.
Nice! Love her dress and the bouquet!
Hubby would be jealous of your full head of hair.
