Hot and humid here too, too hot to be outside for long. Had family up for the day and forgot to give my sister some plants because it was too hot out to remember they were there.
Now it's just plain hot - about 92. Humidity went down in the PM, but will return later. Okay, I had my fill of real summer weather.

Wow - did we get blasted! Lightning all around. Check this out. I just got the camera out and the lens turned foggy from the humidity. However, it caught this burst that seemed to hit not far behind my neighbor's house!

It was so hot today just sucked all the moisture out of the containers even though we had a lot of rain last night.

Oh my those shots of lightening are too close Victor. Not my fav thing at all. I am the same boat as Bill and we could use some rain here as well now. Hit 90 yesterday but not quite as hot today, but still humid and a chance of t-storms again. Mostly cloudy this a.m. Want the downpours but not the wind, hail and lightening thank-you very much.

Yes, it's 68 now and not nearly as humid as it was. We were at 89 today and the humidity was horrendous! To be honest, i've seen more 70 days than 80's this summer.
