ROFLOL I adore the picture BJ--but you can't see those huge expensive diamond earrings I sent!!! Perfect attire for anyone in a little red chili pepper if I must say so myself.
I am so glad you and your sister had so much fun. I hope someday I can get mine to "loosen" up a bit and enjoy life!!
Well we are finally getting rain and I do mean rain today. However, we have to take the thunder and lightening with it but I will not complain.
Later.........................

Well Cindy, looks like we're on that, "There's always next year" boat together!
We got a lot of rain early Sunday morning and off and on all day Sunday, it was so wonderful! Maybe my dead weeds in my lawn will green up again.
Well, Marion... the scarves covered up the diamond earring... plus... neither of us had put in earrings in so long... we think our piercings had grown together... we didn't try them... sorry. Hey... we did put on the brightest lip stick I could find in my make up case... and it felt really strange too, since our lips hadn't felt lip stick in a very long time... that was fun all by itself, getting ourselves all fixed up... we even laughed about raiding grandma's trunk in the attic when we were kids.
Afternoon Everyone...
Well the 4th is over but the shop is closed down all week so I will be taking care of the gardens, doctors appointments and just running in circles.. lol
Friday night I had two ol dfriends of mine show up on a spur of the moment with their families. We had 10 kids running around and of course Bella and my best friends Mastiff.. My neighbors were wandering where we put everyone.. lol Was great fun to see them all again and best of all get to meet the kids..
We spent the 4th with my side of the family at a cookout and I got to see everyone but my dad. Many of my family remembered who I was and was so excited when they realized we were home. It was alot of fun seeing my aunts and uncles after 9 years and my cousins wow I had no idea who most of them were..
Saturday night we went to town alittle further out and watched fireworks with Maxs old best friend and my sisters best friend along with their 3 children. Was a great show except the finaly which was delayed because it was raining so it came in lil bursts.. Was still a great show and a wonderful time.. After getting home the neighbors were up all night and we had fireworks of all kinds let off right above our house.. Neighbors were to put it nicely trashed... Fighting wit hother neighbors and of course Maxs brother down the street..
Yesterday we went to Maxs family cookout and swam almost all afternoon. We had burges, cakes and just lots of food. Trina got dropped off to us there and is here to stay until she wants to go home.. We spent the evening working in the garden and I threw a bunch of wildflower seeds down in a back corner bed along with planting sunflowers that Maxs brother let me dig up. Trina says we need some asparagus for the garden..
Today we are unning to the store and getting some errands done... Tomorrow Tony and I are both getting eye exams and new glasses and hopefully tues day night going out camping on family property..
Will post some pictures soon..
Prayers to all in need and huggs to everyone.. I will try to catch up later, I did some reading but cant remember who went with what.. . No sleep does that right.
Donna
Sounds like everyone have a blast.I ate lots of good food and visited with friends. Then me and my friend left and went to another party and i didn't get home until around midnight that night. It was good to have fun and not be stuck at home.
Michigan weather!!! Saturday friends wanted to have a picnic at the local lake. Overcast, temps at 60, damp and under the trees. The mosquitoes had a feast. Then on sunday when friend and I had planned a double feature movie date the sun came out and it was in the 70's. Go figure!
Today i lovely, 70's and the sun is wonderful. I played in the dirt; got out the weeds and planted a few colius to give some color to a plank spot.
Yesterday I got my Junk Swap book ready and in going through things I found a bird feeder that I had gotten as a gift and totally forgotten I had. It is a cat holding a flower for bird seeds. I wasted no time in putting it out in the garden today after the weeds were all cleaned away.
Trisha, looks like you had a very nice visit. The beach house certainly doesn't look like one. It's beautiful, love the simple architecture.
Did you manage to get close to at least one of the birds? Puffins do look like clowns of the bird kingdom, don't they?
Thanks for the link Cindy. Seems like you are truly ready to get home and get busy! Let me guess.. some kitchen towels to do?
Yah LK, we have a lot of sistahs missing. I just hope the reason for their absence is not due to illness. And it's summer.. Outside is preferable to being inside.
We have our own Thelma and Louise!! Look at you BJ! Go on with your bad self, avec lipstick and those Greta Garbo glasses!
Love that pic.. think I'll use it to adorn the next room!
Some rain here too, Maid M. Not enough to drench the grounds and hence, I do have to water the potted plants plus the straw bales this evening. For international travel, do you know how many suitcases are you allowed to check in?
Donna, you must have caught up a lot on the family's business! I haven't seen the ones in Singapore since 1984, and when I see them, I am sure they'd hold me prisoner for a few days till I know who is who and what is what.
Ain't it terrible.. a beautiful day had to end up with fights. Hope there wasn't much blood shed.
We already set aside a corner for asparagus. So, if I'm learning this right, we can harvest them after 3 years?
Cody, yes, you need to be out of the house at least once a month!! Enjoy the company of some other ladies. Glad you had a good time.
Janice, quit bragging on your cool weather!!! So, where's the damage that the yard helper did to your garden? Didn't see any.. it is beautiful!! Look at that clematis!! Love the whimsical birdfeeder!!
Hiya Crissy.. are you back at work?
Okay...hold on to the postings till I do a new room...
