Super shots, Bill. I'm glad everyone's gardens are doing well, in spite of the rain this season.

JI's love water as long as they don't have soggy feet...it's a feat to accomplish these days.

Look at this Foxglove! Allison started it from seed and gave it to me last June at kassia RU. This year it took off and it's just beautiful! We had Nor'easter type winds a few days ago and you'd never know by this plant!!

That's a beautiful foxglove. Ours will not bloom this year. But it's looking big, bushy and healthy. The blooms should be awesome next year.

Great pics, everyone, as usual!

Shelly, I love your alstromeria with the spider.

LH, I'm not a member of PDS or NEDS, though my father has a lifetime membership with AHS/NEDS. I have been to a meeting or 2 at Tower Hill, but it's been quite a few years. Just don't have the time to go, as too much is needing to be done here. I have a membership with a local garden club, that's about it. I keep telling myself I will join AHS/NEDS, but haven't done it yet. I do get to read their journals that my Dad gets in the mail. Hey, if you can't make it to the RU, you're welcome to come to visit and see my place while the DL's are going gangbusters. Just D-mail me. I'm usually here on the weekends.

Jo Anne, that's a gorgeous coreopsis with the royal purple sedum. Do you know the variety?

Celeste, I love your blue and white JI and the Indian Giver DL.

lovely blooms today all... I am pooped out... but glad you like your foxglove Pixie!!!

Jo Ann and Victor... The little blue flower is a Corydalis. That particular one is a purple leaf form.

Thanks Willie... I bet that your Alstoemeria seeds will still be viable next spring. They'll be soooo pretty.

Thanks Victor... The spider seemed to be entertained by my being there, which is sort of freaky. That JI of yours is great. Pink ones are not common.

Flowerjen.... Your wildflower garden is fantastic.

Jo Ann.... Your collages are fantastic. Those poppy fields are just beautiful.

Bill.... great job. That invasive spirea just amazes me! I've had 4 of them for maybe 7 years now. You know how many I have now?

4!

thanks Karen

Pixie..... Toto and the viola are neat!

Karen; I will look up your location and see how far you are from me... I would love to get down there. I'm getting a little better about venturing out.. I think, at one time, I couldn't find my way out of a paper bag!! LOL!! I'm good in ME and NH but MA would always throw me for a loop. Now, after traveling to Waltham and Boylston, I'm feeling more adventurous! lol!! Thanks again for your kind invitation.

Lovely pictures everyone! Love that blanket flower, Toto... Nice happy looking Impatient, WHA... perfect weather for impatients.

I got me B&D Lily half price sale order yesterday.
I ordered 5 they sent 6 and 2 walnut sized lily bulbs.
As you can see the order has big plants, each variety contains at least 3 fans and the one I took apart has 4.
Most varieties were about $15.00 makes each plant 5 bucks or less.
To give some sense of scale the plants are pixed on a kitchen towel

celeste i can not believe you have an astilbe blooming! mine have stocks that are getting close! nice pictures.

victor i "think" it is andromeda - from debbie - i've several around and it looks closest to the pic although it should be a semi double and these are not.

here is a maiden hair fern that i got in a co-op this year - last time i will do a fern co-op - in the past i have bought them at nurseries and have split in three at home and they were still 3X the size of the co-op ferns
