Do you forget that when I found myself without a home after selling mine to be with Bill, having to leave with less than $50. in my pocket and purchasing a modular home the disrepair it was in...I'm blessed because I have my health and I've had friends / family who have physically helped me out...don't you even think that I'd be looking at your surroundings...the big house, the new cars are simply things...people, their heart their caring ways are what touches me....

Thought I might cross the border in Detroit, drop in to say hi to Janice..make my way to your house and then on to Shar's then I can make a reverse travel plan for way home...now this is tentative but I'm working on it and will let you know my plans as they progress...

LOL Betty how would you have known that, considering all the people we talk to, I can't keep it straight either. No I don't want my family any closer, I'm just not a family oriented person. My mom will walk on in my house no matter if someone is home or not, and if my dad's closer I end up being his storage unit. Mom's 6 hours West and my dad's 6 hours North, it's perfect, and no I'm not nice but I can't stand it!

Well Shar, have really been thinking about the week I've already booked, can always take extra days in October to bring mom to Florida..

I start holidays 3:00 pm July 31st and wouldn't have to be back until Monday, Aug.10th...so I'm deep in thought .. what to do / what to do..lol

Well, I'm here, though not very close to any of the others. Follow I-24 straight down from southern Illinois, and I am right on it, just about 2 minutes away from the intersection. And I do have lots of room, and you are welcome to stay as long as you want.

Don't remember the mileage, but it's about a 4 hour drive, i think.
