Marion I truly hop eyour hand gets to feeling better very soon. It sounds like if you have to let the kitty go at least you have a great place for it to go.. I know it doesnt help because we think of dusty all th etime but at least they get to be happy..

To all of you in this heat wave do take care of yourselves and dont overheat .. It ssupposed to e 90 here which is nothing in comaprison but I know the heat all to well.. May the breezes be cooler and the shade be perfect for all of you..

Well,looks like we have a new kitten.I was in the bathroom and i kept hearing something so i raise the window and it was a kitten under the house meowing.So i went outside and kept calling it out and it came out.It is a stinking little girl,she has white paws so i named her boots.I will post a picture of her sometime tomorrow.I guess people think we are the animal kingdom here.

So glad to hear from you, Donna. Sounds like things are finally settling down for you and the family. You said you were having the girls for the summer, too. How are they settling in?
How is the job going, too? I know you had some problems getting one that had the potential for growth. I sounds as if you are glad to be back home.

The warm weather has finally moved up to Michigan with temps in the 90's but still nothing like you in the south are having. Take care and drink lots of water! Since I don't have AC at home (just window units) it is nice to come into work for the day and then go home to a cool house and the evening breezes. We have had so much rain that the garden is just overgrown with plants that have gotten bigger than usual. Everything is oversize!

kWe finally had a really good rain last night but had to take the thunder and lightening with it. Not complaining--it is amazing how fresh the air is this morning and how much greener everything looks. You can water all you want but a good rain from above just does it better.

Oh the coffee is so good Donna. Thanks for your comments, hand doing better but still limited use of the fingers ( one deep bite on back of hand near tendion). Glad to see you will have the twins and things are coming together for you and your family.

Cody, be sure to put a "zipper" in and that will stop the babies. Kittens are so cute and loveable makes me want another one but not at this time.

I was wondering about Gwen also--where is she. I know her daughter was injured in that accident but would like to know all is going well with her.

Jaye, missing you dear one!! Please, please take care of yourself--hoping things will reach a point sometime you and Kel can come this way for a few days!! I will show you my nice pet alligator in the lake. How is that for a bribe? Looks like he might go 8' in length--a biggie!!

Morning to all I missed but need to go deal with a washing machine that isn't working. The controls remind me of WallE with all the lights flashing and moving around. Have a horrible feeling it might be the circuit board but sure hoping not!!
