۞ Sweet Interruptions ۞148
His was a prescription also. 800MG.
No more though.
No spicey food, no more drinking booze...
He will not be a happy camper!
But I told him I love him too much to do any more damage to his body.
Good Morning Ladies. rise and shine, it's a beautiful day! coffee in the carafe and donuts on the counter, I'm heading outside. It's so nice and cool out there this morning, try to get a little done before it get to hot.
Please pray for my son's boss' family. Marcus drove in yesterday morning to meet him at his house as he always does,,,but Wesley didn't come out. After sitting there for about 15 minutes, a BIL of Wesley's drove up,,,and Wesley's wife saw Marcus sitting in the driveway. Wesley walked out , apologized to Marcus for forgetting to call him,,,but Wesley wasn't going to work.
His sister, who lives in Alabama, was in a car accident Wednesday evening, her 8 year old son was killed (no seatbelt, ejection from vehicle) and she is facing being paralyzed if she survives.
So sad, please pray for that family.
Marilyn, sorry to hear the sad news. I acn't imagine what the family is going through. Sending prayers now!
LK
morning ladies. mike came home from work at 9am yesterday. he was very sick. took him to the clinic. they said he has colitis, and working in this heat also made him sick. soooooo, he is home today. the problem is getting him to stay inside. it is already 80 degrees here, and heat index will be 110 again today
LK, i am sending prayers out to you and your hubby. i hope all goes well
Morning everyone!
I am just glad this thread here is open to anyone that needs prayers. Prayers certainly going out to that young kid, Crissy. Can you please tell us what her name is? So young to be inflicted by such a malady.
Also will keep Wesley's family in our thoughts and prayers. There are more pros than cons in wearing seatbelts, and in the case of cyclists, crash helmets.
It's been rough with some of us here lately, but with God, everything is possible. So, LK, tell Todd, if he didn't go in for his ulcers, he wouldn't know about that cyst behind his knee. Let's pray it's treatable and yes, saving his life is worth giving up on all the booze.
Kel's dad was advised to quit smoking years ago... he told the doc, he want to die happy and now he regretted what he had said. Didn't quit soon enough.
Will say a prayer for Mike too. Poor guy is going through so much with you Sis Kathy. He has been your rock and sanity. Wish one of us is living close to you, so you won't be climbing walls.
Cody, you might have guessed the Tylenol were effective for me last night. Besides taking care of the headaches, they zonked me out too. Whatever's necessary to heal your hands, take the doctor's advice.
Maid M. Kel says maybe the cat's trying to tell you her Meow Mix ain't appetizing anymore!
It must be psychological with your cat.. it must be missing Ross badly or maybe your Manx too? If your last resort is to place it with someone else....I can truly feel your agony there... I wouldn't know what to do if one of my babies decide to turn against me. But at least you're not 'putting it down'.
You too got enough on your plate.. and for now your hand has to be healed. Take whatever steps necessary to assure there won't be a 4th time.
Synda, take some yogurt. It will start replenishing the good bacteria in your stomach. Hope your dizziness go away soon. An unhappy Synda means no more funny pictures :D
Extremely hot today here too. Heat index supposedly to rise to the 100s and if you chose to work outside, please drink some Gatorade.

And Kel still hasn't finished the other birdfeeder :**(

i just love you to pieces. one can never have enough bird feeders
That's what so great about you Sis!! You love even the not so perfect sistahs like me!!!
Wish I could make things better for you and Mike.
Trust in Him, Sis.
in my eyes you are perfect. so is brudder kel.
Darn Sis.. I think it's time for you to change that eye-doctor!!!
Pretty sure Kel will be pleased with that remark. He has always said he's perfect, and so far you're the only one agreeing to that.
So.. will you be planning for Ohio. You've missed BJ's, and I hope you won't miss Judy's.
Time for me to get my behind in gear. Finish tackling that RWB box.. cool down some plants.
See me later everyone. Sis, don't stay away so long!
judy? when? where? how?

P.S. Jordankittyjo, Think I am doing Sistah Gathering in 2011!! woohoo, hope to see you at Joyces.
Linda, Chris was 33 and their mom was 60, I guess sister Erika is married with a child and Chris & Christy have a 4 year old. So so so sad, I'm thinking about going to the viewing tonight while Dave's at work. I have never met Erika but have met the whole family and am friends with the youngest child, and Christy of course.
Ok I have a sugar rush! Too many donuts and there are still plenty to share, enough for 5 each! LOL
BJ do be careful and have a good trip.
Crissy, I misunderstood you. So that child is now God's angel? Oh please carry along our 'loving vibes' if you're able to go to the funeral home. So sad.. No more donuts for you young lady!!
So, it's not a slip of the fingers after all. 2011 at Judy's!!! Wow.. you're a fast worker sistah!! I get to see her wedding dress!!! Another piggy bank marked "Judy"!!!
You too have a wonderful celebration! I bet your kids already got something wonderful for Steve.
Have a safe trip BJ. Try to avoid the heat!
Cindy.. oh Cindy.. are you okay. She might have one strawberry margarita too many :D
BJ you have a safe trip, and 'refresh'.
Morning all! Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
LOL tell Kel I wish it was only her complaining about the food but I am afraid it is more than that. Have found information on an excellent solution and still in process of checking information out.
Linda Kay, I am so with you in spirit if not in person. In fact, I am will all of my sistahs going through difficult times right now. I know the saying "The Lords doesn't give us more than we can bear" but sometime the load is heavy! I am sure it is for a purpose we ourselves haven't seen yet. Praying for all for comfort, compassion, healing and most of all sending love to each.
BJ, please enjoy your time away with Don. You 2 deserved it. How is the little red hot chili pepper doing?
Kathy sending a huge hug your way. So so very happy to see you posting again and wish I, too, could help you through all this.
Waving to all the others and sending loads of love with my first successful bloom on my Luna Hibiscus. So humid the lense fogged up when I was taking the picture.
Let us know will you, once you found out the solution is. Was wondering if the cat's neutered?
Maid M., I do have a one year old Endless Summer that's only about 2 ft. tall, but I'm thankful for the blooms. Maybe they're slow growers?
I do fertilize mine, dropped some nails in the holes.. plant where it will get some shade.. and it is still a dwarf!
Here are some DLs blooming today.
This is Victorian Lace
Think I'll do the same :D
Oh how I love the daylilies!! My hydrangea is only about 18" tall but as you can see had 8 mopheads on it. Guess something is right where it is. Feel much better knowing I am not the only one with short ones. Kim found one last week she feel in love with named "Pinky Winky" but of course, it is now going by a new name in honor of my favorite niece.. LOL
Yes, she is spayed and has been since she was 6 weeks old. I must related that she was turned into Orcat ( cat refuge funded by the late Marge Shott and residents of Ocean Reef) in Key Large where we adopted her. She had been the pawn in a divorce case and it was believed she had been poisoned as a result. the vet at Orcat wasn't even sure she would survive but Ross fell in love with her and visited her daily while working down there on a project. We were told she might suffer neurological problems but they weren't sure. Guess they might be right. End result she survived and we did adopted her before we finished the project. Don't mean to bore anyone but that is the story.
A little but very little unfortunately. Still can't use 3 middle fingers.
