Clouds yesterday, a few this morning but no rain and should be in high seventies by this afternoon. We've tied our 29 days with no rain record for the spring....guess I will get the sprinkler hooked up out back Going to take my extra hose over and water at Doris's also...her yard was so very dry...we have semi-clay soil and we really had to work to break up the hard crust that has formed at her house.

Then it is back to setting up the pond. Sage is finished with school at twelve thirty and they are coming over to help if Laura is feeling better. I just love to move rock...NOT! I can crawl around and pull weeds all day but this stooping and bending just kills me!

Hello there!
Just got back to the house to do some laundry, house cleaning will have to wait till later!
They are giving him 2 more units of blood today, because his hemoglobin level is still at 8.7. They will not let him go until it reaches at least 10 -12. So pray that these two units do the trick?
He is getting cranky, and that means he is feeling better. He complained that they won't let you sleep at night, because of the temperature, and blood pressure, and more blood work... Typical for the hospital!
Jaye, I will tell him about the mollasses. Dr.'s said today, he will be on a bland soft food only diet, for at least a month, to let the ulcer heal. He just gave the Dr. a dirty look! But I will do my best to make sure he sticks to it!
Off to get some laundry done.

Trisha... it's way too hot to stay longer than 30 minutes, but I put up with the heat for an hour!! Have to remind myself to get me a sombrero. Had a wet towel around my neck so that helps cool myself a bit.

Sistahs and nieces, if you noticed, I had included some names with prayer requests that might be strangers to some of you.
If you know of anyone needing prayers, even though they don't visit this thread, let me know. I'll post them too.

Don't mention anything about the cost. He is having acow, just laying there, imagining how much this is going to cost. I told him what ever it cost, it is worth it, for them saving your life!

I talked to BJ this morning.....we are both a bit out of sorts so was really good to hear her voice....reminds me sooo much of home..........and she sounds just like my favorite aunt...

As for the pond I got a BIG surprise today......we were just starting to pull apart the rock from the old pond to start stacking around the new one when Bill came home for lunch. He looks at it and asks if we aren't going to sink it into the ground. I told him not unless he was digging the hole because we sure couldn't do it. He asked what we were paying and I told him I could probably work a few bike rides into the deal. He said he can't right now, but he would start digging the whole for it on Sunday!!! This is a BIG deal...Bill does not do yard work!! Whooo Hoooo my pond is going to get sunk!!!!! Oh boy, I can start a whole new plan for the front yard now!!

It bloomed today.....this was out of the freebie section at the garden center last year...I have lost the tag....does anyone know what is is???

Hello all, this has been a great day for me. Had a wonderful visit with a dear friend who lives in VA. She is even older than me and still plants and tends to thousands of the most beautiful Daylillies I've ever seen. I've known Anna at least 20 yrs. but lost contact for a few, then reconnected three yrs. ago. So good to make friends that always stay your friend. I'm so anxious to meet you wonderful ladies because I already think of you as my friends.
Will be praying for all who aren't well. AND yes, only God can make miracles happen. Just remember, God works in mysterious (Spelling?)ways.

Hi All,
Just checking in. We left Auburn at 5 am (later than we wanted) and got here in Oregon at 5:30 pm. A very looooooooooooooooooog drive. As soon as I got out of the car I hit the potty then into the hot tub and stayed there for at least an hour. My back hurt so bad. Had a good nights sleep, then did some shopping for BBQ for Father's Day and Mom's b-day. Being very lazy today, but tomarrow we are going to Washington to do some shopping for our camping trip. Will be leaving Monday for camping. Mom and I are staying in the fifth wheel right now. Man it is huge I could live in it,lol. But then when we go camping our house goes too,lol.

I'm using Sissy's lap top and I'm not use to it,lol but it is neat. I need to get me one of these,lol. First I need a new monitor so I can use my own pc at home, instead of mom's all the time.

It is going to be a loud weekend. They are having an Air Show out at the Olympia Airport...we are maybe three miles max from the airport and the incoming flight path is right over our house. We have had a steady stream of old planes and helicopters coming in today

Hi, been really slowed up now. Had to go back to doctor yesterday, another shot (OUCH!) and yet another antibiotic added to the one I am already taking. Had to go back again today for recheck and still another shot. What am I a human pin cushion? I know I am well padded in the back side but enough is enough!! Depending on what it looks like in the morning I will have yet to return with threats of maybe hospitalization for IV's. Oh I hope not!!

BJ saying prayer for you and what is bothering you--I, too, am now experiencing some difficulties with someone and I know how it can affect you. I be here!!! I miss you and actually seeing Don's smile--he has a very gentle nice smile....and you can tell him I said so.

Thanks Trisha, that is as straight as I can get my fingers and the 3 middle ones are very hard to move. Thanks goodness it wasn't a worse position they froze in.

I am thinking seriously about find a new home for my kitty as I can't go through this again--3rd time. There is a place near us that the owner has 30 acres devoted to caring for cats people don't want, can't take care of or has problems. Checking it out throughly before she will go as I don't want to just send her any place. This is and will be hard but she has scared me badly this time.

I know how had it will be, but THREE times....I am not sure I could survive one like that....and my pets are like my kids to me. I know you will make the best decision for both of you.

She was Ross' cat and that makes it even harder but again, I can't go through this any more. I am not sure is she is playing and doesn't realize she can do damage or what but am checking with her vet and discussing the situation before decisions are made. She has never lived outside and I just can't bring myself to put her out to fend for herself so to speak.

Good night Trisha,hugs to you too.By the way i had my MRI done today on my hands.It took 3 hours to do both hands and i was not a happy camper.Hopefully i will know some thing by Monday.

Shoot, I don't know who to give my phone number to, I trust everyone! Midsouth did this a long time ago when I first signed up, stubborn me said, "I'm not going to do that, what can happen? And besides, this is just a website." Well not but a month after that I ended up in the hospital for 3 days having an appendectomy, then I couldn't get up to get on the computer for another 2 weeks! They were looking frantically all over for me, not knowing my first or last name, which hospital I went to, nothing. Somehow someone got my phone number, not sure how, and 2 people called me. I was so excited I just couldn't hide it! I then knew that this is not "just a website" and people do care about other people! So I'm going to have to make a tough decision and figure out who to give my number to, I will never do that again!

I got some bad bad news tonight from my mom. My mom's husband's niece's daughter, there's 4 kids total, this specific one is 7 and I don't know what birth order she's in, but she has been stricken with Aplastic Anemia. For those who don't know what this is, here's the link:

Ladies, I am just skimming ever so quickly.
I need more prayers please! Todds leg starting hurting real bad about midnight last night, and they told him was just a cramp, and gave him some tylenol at first. Then about 2 am, he started screaming that he needed more for pain, and they gave him demorol. That lasted all of about an hour. They did a doppler scan, to rule out that it may be a blood clot, and they told us it was just a cyst behind his knee. About an hour ago, they finally shot him full of morphine, and that knocked him out. His knee is now the size of a huge softball, and turning dark, like a bruise!They are doing an MRI right now, because they said it still may be a blood clot!
I am really worried, and I just need more prayers that this is not a blood clot. If it is, hope they can do something for it!

Donna, when I was a single mom without any cash, yard sales and church benefit shops kept me and my two eldest kids nicely and quite fashinable clothed. in fact, more fashionably than I have been in years! my sister, who is now a credit union VP, STILL shops garage sales and consignment shops. won't pay retail for ANYTHING> her favorite is craigslist freebies. her daughter, my niece, at Appalachian State U, learned everything from her mom and is getting a rep for having the coolest clothes of anyone!

Crissy, I am so sorry to hear the news! Such a young girl too!

Couldn't wait til my Dr decided to come back to town so when to Stat Care.Boy was that Dr, PO'ed.Said I should never have been given the Relafen...since I take an Ace Inhibitor,blood pressure med.For #1 and people don't realize how bad NSAIDs are for you,whether perscription or OVC.And on top of the reaction to the Relafen I have fluid in my inner ear.She couldn't believe I drove myself to town......LOL.So hopefully things will start to straighten up,with an antibiotic and pills for the dizzies,and pills to stop the yeast that has decided to take over my body,since the NSAID took away all the good lining.

Some Dr.'s should not be practicing medicine!

LK ,the motrin that Todd was taking is classied as an NSAID....bad stuff.Mine just hit me faster because it was perscription.
