Hee Hee, I've got a lead foot. last night when I was taking DGD home I got a speeding ticket. Dang cop where'd he come from anyways? He was coming towards me and picked me up on his radar doing 48 in 35 mile zone. I didn't even realize I was going that fast. I was driving my mom's little car instead of the 4runner so maybe that's why. DRATS!!! another bill to pay.

I love my Heron on the pond and plan to get the other one.....what I went out there for was the cutest Turtle with a Frog standing on his back holding up a Sunflower for either a feeder or birdbath.......of course by the time I had some money I could spend all those and all the big garden frogs were all gone:( Oh well, I guess it was meant to be cause the heron looks just great by my pond....will look even better when I get the pond cleaned out!!

Still haven't met the new neighbor....we see her drive in and out once in awhile over the past couple of months.....yesterday a big moving van brought in a lot of furniture....then pickup and trailer brought a ton of lawn furniture, rocks, plant stands and stuff.....today the guy who has been mowing her yard shows up with a load of trees and things......will be interesting....just hope they don't put in a bunch of stuff that shades out what little sun I have back there........guess we will wait and see.....

Oh, am I stiff and sore this morning.....think we will take it easy today....I will probably finish the little bit out front at Dorothy's and then we will finish pulling grass and start on Doris place tomorrow.

It was so funny yesterday....when we were at WalMart Laura saw some Red Snapdragons that she just loves...she has one and has wanted some more.....I know she needs her money for bills and necessities so I bought her two of them. She was babysitting Orion yesterday.....on her way home Orion's mom stopped by Wal Mart. She saw these beautiful red snapdragons and got one for Laura!!! I think Laura has a good start on her snapdragons now!

Guess I better get off of here, Sage and I have a lot of stuff to do and I have to take Laura down to one of her DR. Appt. in a bit.... TYL..

Susan, I moved back in with my mom. Things didn't work out between Rick and I. So I'm doing alot of landscaping around here. Mom is 82 and can't keep up with everything here So I think it was meant for me to be here with her and not a lazy man who took advantage of me and my diability checks. He hadn't worked since Jan 2, and wasn't doing anything about looking for any kind of work. Plus some other things happened between us that just made me sick to my stomach. I'm much happier here and I have spending money now ^_^

Hi everyone. This week has had its ups and downs. I shopped for plants, did lots of gardening, went to the dentist, and then came down with tonsillitis.

I am going to watch some tv, and then go to bed early. Norman is a big boy. He can get himself off to work tonight.

OK I know alot of you have gone to bed already, but I'm posting this pix anyways as I won't be on until late afternoon tomarrow. We are going to visit my brother. Anyhoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo................................................

I made this "Dragonfly" out of styrofoam and Quickwall. That Quickwall stuff is not fun to work with. My SIL was telling me about some stuff that his mom uses when she makes things for outside. I'm gonna have to go over to her house and take some pix of the things she makes. One thing she made was a "Teacup" with a butterfly perched on the rim. She used a plastic garbage can, one of those "noodles" that you float on and a mylar butterfly balloon. It is the neatest thing and so cute. She uses it for a planter. I did post a pix of a "Spider Lady" back in Oct, that she had made. Some of you might remember.

This will be my next project when I get back from Oregon. I'm going to mosaic these feet with colored glass.

Oh Cindy how cute are those!!! You could even make those feet have little flipflops!!!

Yeah, fell asleep on the couch and hubby went to bed without me, so I thought I'd check in before I check out!! ;o)

No job, no $$, lots of fun in the garden though!!

Dad is feeling better. He goes back to the cardiologist the first week in July. He just had that valve replaced and he's had bypass and stints two times....I guess the poor thing is just wearing out... :o( A while back we had this great talk. I had told my Mom how upset I was about his health and that I was afraid he was going to die...so he pulled me aside and we went for a walk. He said, I don't want you to be afraid I'm going to die. I'm not. I'm ready. I want to see the streets paved in gold and all my family and friends that have already gone home. I'm not afraid and I don't want to live when my time is up. So I had to agree that when it is his time, it is his time. They both have DNRs in place and they've already told me if either one gets cancer they won't be having chemo. They've lived wonderful lives and don't want to go through that to their bodies. So again, I must listen to what they want.

I have two brothers. One is full time in Florida and is 10 years older than I am. The other (4 years older) winters in Florida but still has his house in Indiana. I am the the youngest and the only girl and I will be the one to deal with it all when it is time. I'm not looking forward to it, but I know that I'll get the strength from above when I need it.

Wow Cookie, that brought tears to my eyes. I have that same fear. I'm the only one other than my daughter that will have to deal with my mom when it is her time and I'm scared really scrared. My brother is in prison and will never get out.

Your dad seen his own kids give him grandkids... led a productive life.. I am sure fulfilled almost all his dreams.

My FIL has accepted whatever Lord's will is, but will continue with whatever options are left to treat his cancer for his family's sake. We are the ones not ready to let him go yet.

I 'zonked' today after a long shopping day. LK, BJ.. the Texas Roadhouse has some killer ribs!! Thank you for the recommendation.
We even ordered a whole slab to go. Kel's not a steak man, but he ordered a 16oz. ribeye, and it was so tender. I'm the one with half a slab, with sauce on the side.

I'm off to bed.. wanted to do some reading.. refresh my knowledge on Galatians for bible class tomorrow.. but I think I'll depend on memory instead :D

Hey Happy Birthday LK Sorry I am late But its better late than never I hope you had a great day
Hi everyone well boy Did I work this week On Wednesday I worked from 9 in the morning till 11 at night It was a long day and than on top The supper had me stop live traffic on the tollway 4 time And it was getting to be Twilight out that was bad my boss had a fit I hope that the guy gets fined big time for that But I did ok and I am still here that heavens. Well Thursday had to be at work by 6am in highland Park got done at 3. than on Friday had to drive an hour and half to get to Heron in McHenry . Than I was to go back on Saturday so I went to my Dads house wich is only a half hour away so started for work Saturday and 6:30 got a call no work rain out so I came home and slept.
Now I am doing some work around the house and clean out my Truck than I will go back to my Dads and spend the night for Monday
Well its getting close to all my flowers/weeds to bloom than I will no I should go out and mark everything soon.
I see all have great things in yard Cindy what a cute Dragon fly Love it.
Last nite I watched the cute movie New in town and it takes place in Minnesota in the winter I was laughing out loud it was a cute show
Well best do somethings so I can leave and rest. Watch t I will go to my Dads that is a 1/2 hour away and they will call me to say come to the tollway on Monday. I will pop in before I leave

Morning everyone. Thanks to everyone for the great Birthday wishes. I had a great time. I got a new camera for my Birthday, about 2 weeks ago, and then yesterday, I got an XM sattelite radio for the truck! The Mustang came with one, and I miss it when I am in the truck, so now all vehicles have it!
