No job, no $$, lots of fun in the garden though!!

Dad is feeling better. He goes back to the cardiologist the first week in July. He just had that valve replaced and he's had bypass and stints two times....I guess the poor thing is just wearing out... :o( A while back we had this great talk. I had told my Mom how upset I was about his health and that I was afraid he was going to die...so he pulled me aside and we went for a walk. He said, I don't want you to be afraid I'm going to die. I'm not. I'm ready. I want to see the streets paved in gold and all my family and friends that have already gone home. I'm not afraid and I don't want to live when my time is up. So I had to agree that when it is his time, it is his time. They both have DNRs in place and they've already told me if either one gets cancer they won't be having chemo. They've lived wonderful lives and don't want to go through that to their bodies. So again, I must listen to what they want.

I have two brothers. One is full time in Florida and is 10 years older than I am. The other (4 years older) winters in Florida but still has his house in Indiana. I am the the youngest and the only girl and I will be the one to deal with it all when it is time. I'm not looking forward to it, but I know that I'll get the strength from above when I need it.
