Comments regarding Growjoy

I have ordered several times and this company has the quickest shipping I've ever experienced. I will absolutely continue to purchase from them.

My daughter remembered that I wanted to buy a birdhouse so that i paint it the same colors as our summer house. She bought me a kit for my holiday gift. Imagine my surprise after i had attempted to put it together only to find that the kit had left out the 2 sides. Very dissappointed. My husband said forget it - no one is going to help you. Hope springs eternal so I emailed Dave's, was told that they would make sure that the supplier mailed me a new kit! Great service. Lovely follow through and so professionally done! I DEFINITELY will order from this company again! Their handling of my recent order from Christmas which was incorrectly filled by the manufacturer was beyond my expectations!! My Purple Martins will be very happy this Spring.

I purchased 3 solar mole gopher removal items. One of the three did not work. Upon contacting them, they told me to call the manufacturer. I was expecting them to send me one that did work. This was supposed to be 3 new items....will not buy from again. Lost not only the money but the shipping.

With limited retail shopping available near me, it's great to have one stop shopping at Garden Harvest. My decorative and edible plants are all still doing wonderfully this season, even my tomatoes are still producing- and it's almost Thanksgiving! I couldn't be happier with my annual and perennial flowers, too. I love this place and the variety of things available. The organic fertilizers have been easy to use and are doing a great job. I've instructed my friends and family that for my birthdays and holidays, they could make their own shopping easy and just get me a gift certificate from Garden Harvest. I'd never run out of things on my wish list!

I have used GHS on numerous occasions, for everything from plants to birdhouses, and have never been disappointed. I have even spoken with Joe, 'the boss', on occasion when I have ordered something wrong or have forgot to order something and have never found him or anyone in his company to be uncaring. The website is extremely user-friendly and the Master Gardener Blog has all kinds of useful information. My plants ALWAYS arrive really healthy and I find that I have much more success with Garden Harvest plants than I do with Wal-mart or Lowe's plants...and since I live in the boonies and have to drive awhile, I love the money I save on gas. I highly recommend trying this company!

We purchased Nocdown III Multi Use Water Soluble solution, made by CedarCide, for $36.50 from GHS on 6/'08. We used it several times, and put the bottle on a shelf in the basement where it is stable temps, and no sun exposure. We were very disappointed when the bottle split open, (cracked open) from simply sitting there, spilling Nocdown all over our shelves and everything else nearby.
We emailed the company and let them know, as we certainly expected the bottle to be sturdy enough to handle the cedar oils without a problem.
This product is REPACKAGED by GHS, and while Essential Oils and plastic often don't mix well, if a company is selling it in plastic bottles they should know that that plastic Will stand up to the ingredients they fill it with. IF that is the cause, and not a faulty bottle.
Tina replied sympathically, and said she needed to talk to her boss about it. When Monday came she emailed that they needed the order number, and we requested a phone number to call and talk. She sent it, we called, and were told that Garden Harvest Supply REFUSED to Refund or Replace... but that they would give us a 25%DISCOUNT if we wanted to BUY a REPLACEMENT.
This is Not an acceptable solution.
I would like to warn others that this company seems to have no real idea of standing behind its products, even the ones that they Repackage themselves. I cannot recommend that anyone purchase from here.
Please think about this!

Just received my first order with this company, some cinnamon rolls, zucchini bread, and both are delicious! The cinnamon rolls are awesome! Shipping was great and great prices too. Thankyou!
Now, I am just awaiting my order of veggie seeds. They were sold out of the green beans I ordered, but was told promptly and credited just as promptly for them. Thankyou!
I'm sure I'll be back, at least for the cinnamon rolls, and maybe I'll try something else too :) Yum!

I had previously came across a suggestion to use Diatomaceous Earth for a previous problem dealing w/ an aggressive strain of bees and was unable to find an affordable source. I am now dealing w/ parasites and came across the advise to use Diatomaceous Earth as a safe and effective measure and was delighted to find the Garden Harvest Supply web site offering it at such a great price. I bought extra so I can worm my dogs and keep them free of external pests too, give to my family on a regular basis to keep them free of internal parasites and toxins (as well as my mother who has been diagnosed w/ cancer), and to safely keep my home and property insect and pest free.

I have found the popcorn to be an excellent product and the price and shipping are very reasonable.

This was our first time with mail-order tomato plants and we were a little nervous about what condition they'd arrive in. I have to say, we needn't have worried. The plants from Garden Harvest Supply were sturdy, healthy, and EXTREMELY carefully packed. All of the plants produced very well, in particular the Black Cherry tomato. We're into October here in Michigan and we are still harvesting ripe tomatoes from it! Will not hesitate to order from this supplier again.

I recently ordered four Peter III Asters from Garden Harvest Supply - two for me and two for a friend. I was so impressed with the quality of plants, shipping and service that I have recommended them to all the Master Gardener's in my region. I will definitely order from them again.

I found gardenharvestsupply.com through a blog discussing the pickled peppers used by Blimpies in their sub sandwiches and did anyone know where to find them. The Jake & Amos Sweet Hot Pepper Strips are out of this world awesome and just the taste I was trying to find. I was so pleased, I just reordered 6 jars (which if I'm luky will last a month or two) and some other of the products offerred. The cinnamon rolls are SOOOO decadent and good. The pickled beets are the best. The customer service, packing, shipping are all top notch. I will be a returning customer forever, and each time I re-order, I intend to try something new. In the end of August/beginning of Sept., I ordered 3 types of Delphinium "Magic Fountains" at a great price of $3.85 per plant. Great customer service and the plants arrived on time and in GREAT condition, with plenty of foliage left on them still. I was pleased to see they had a nice root system in their small containers. Will be ordering again from this company!

The fall strawberries I ordered were poorly packaged and arrived in terrible condition. I paid $30 in shipping, more than the cost of the plants and it appears they just tossed two 25 plant flats in an over sized box with only a 10 inch square piece of bubble wrap (which somehow ended up beneath the plants). The box was crushed, there were no internal cardboard supports and many of the plants were damaged from sliding around freely. It's like shipping a medium pizza across the country in a large box, without the little plastic thing in the center. I sent several pictures so they could see my pain, and they were very quick to issue a refund for the plants that had died. For that, I give them a neutral rating. I should have chosen the UPS shipping option for half the cost. Even without the refund, I still would be ahead $10. I think when you pay that much for shipping, they should take a little care in preparing your package so it arrives in good condition.

Also, I am a little concerned, that included with my order was a paper stating that they give 10% discount coupons for any positive comments left at Dave's Garden. That seems a little biased. No coupon for me, I guess.

I ordered some fall strawberry plants. This is the first time I've attempted to plant a new patch in the fall so I was pleased to be able to find the plants. The arrived on time (as per my shipping request), and were healthy. I'll be planting them this afternoon and am looking forward to the spring.

I looked everywhere in my area for Coconut Liners that fit my large 18 inch hanging baskets and I couldn't find them anywhere. So, I gave up and started looking on-line abd found Dave's garden! I called and the customer service was fantastic. I got my item a few days later and the liners were Fabulous! Thank You Dave's!

This was my first time purchasing from Garden Harvest Supply, I am very impressed. My plants arrived sooner, were more robust, and cost less than where I usually get them from (Burpee's). I am currently planning next years garden and will definitely purchase from Garden Harvest again!

I am an avid gardener, but my poor flowers have been battling the wind and rain all summer long here in northeast Ohio. I just purchased some 9-inch hoops from Garden Harvest to help support my heaven's gate coreopsis. The hoops are just wonderful--they do a terrific job and are sturdy and easy to install!! I could not find this size hoop (without a grid) in any of the "big box" stores. Also, they were delivered promptly as promised. I am extremely pleased and will order again from this company.

It's great to be able to buy tomato plants in July. A second chance at having fresh tomatos really makes a gardener happy. After a typical Oklahoma summer a lot of my plants are crispy. I plant my new tomatos the last week of July. You are the only internet supplier that I found with starter plants that late in the season--you're a life saver. Thanks so much.
