Forest Pansy redbud. I am happy with the lower density - screens the neighbors from seeing my pool area. (I like to skinny-dip.)

OMG---too funny! However, I do love that native rose----and all those clems! And the other roses are eyecatchers, for sure. Jo Ann---I like the hosta combo, too. Gallesfarm, do you know the name of that Siberian? Here is clem 'Silver Moon'.

Victor... your Forest Pansy is Lovely! And definitely a good thing for both you and the neighbors. lol

Robin.... I love that fuschia. Is it a hardy one?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

That's nepeta in front of him and he has no interest at all. He ia not an addictive personality I guess.

Beautiful Kopper KIng Victor. You have an amazing eye for interesting foliage!

Thanks, Weeze. Funny about the cat since Jo Ann was talking about her cat getting high on hers today!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

I saw that too! Very funny, although not for the bulldozed by drunken cat plants.

Alfred Station, NY(Zone 5b)

Robindog - sorry, I don't know which Siberian Iris it is. They were all planted by the previous owner. Love your clematis. Clematis is on my list of things to get.

Flowerjen - thanks! I thought it was really neat how the rain beaded up, little beads and big ones. Makes a really cool photo.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Wonderful pics, everyone!

IrisMA, I don't think that iris I posted is as high as 151/2". I will have to measure it. Would that height be to the top of the standards on the top flower of the bloom scape?

Victor, I love that Pure Poetry rose! I think you posted a pic of it before, and I mentioned before that I liked it. Very nice! You have a nice underplanting under the Forest Pansy.

Robin, your clem, fuchsia and peony are great matches!

I went on a garden tour with my garden club this evening in Whitman, MA, and what a garden it was! Unfortunately I forgot my camera. Doh! Hate it when I do that! I could not believe this place. 1 1/2 acres of all kinds of plants, with many ornamental trees and shrubs. Victor and Bill, I thought about both of you while I toured this place, especially you, Victor. I think they used your shoe horn! They have lived there for 25 years, and the husband has been retired for the last 10 years. Both husband and wife work in the gardens. Nearly everything was picture-perfect. They spend pretty much all their free time in the gardens. What a place! They said we are welcome to come back, and I will be back for sure, especially for picture-taking. Oh, and I came home with a comfrey that has blue flowers. The one I have now has pink.

Here are some pics from my gardens I took yesterday.

Standard dwarf irises range from 8" to 15 & 1/2 "from the rhizome to the top of the termminal flower. Your flower looked too large for that ht. Sorry if this is messy, I have my wrist braces on at night.

I will measure it and let you know, IrisMA. I think it looks larger in the pic than it really is.

Last pic for tonight, my resident frog, only one so far, but I usually get more as the season progresses.
