IrisMA, I don't think that iris I posted is as high as 151/2". I will have to measure it. Would that height be to the top of the standards on the top flower of the bloom scape?

Victor, I love that Pure Poetry rose! I think you posted a pic of it before, and I mentioned before that I liked it. Very nice! You have a nice underplanting under the Forest Pansy.

I went on a garden tour with my garden club this evening in Whitman, MA, and what a garden it was! Unfortunately I forgot my camera. Doh! Hate it when I do that! I could not believe this place. 1 1/2 acres of all kinds of plants, with many ornamental trees and shrubs. Victor and Bill, I thought about both of you while I toured this place, especially you, Victor. I think they used your shoe horn! They have lived there for 25 years, and the husband has been retired for the last 10 years. Both husband and wife work in the gardens. Nearly everything was picture-perfect. They spend pretty much all their free time in the gardens. What a place! They said we are welcome to come back, and I will be back for sure, especially for picture-taking. Oh, and I came home with a comfrey that has blue flowers. The one I have now has pink.
