Lucky you, Maria! Still raining here.
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 47
Congrats to them, Victor. Have fun at their party!
nice Victor!! the sun came out for an hour.... now it's pouring again.. I think I am seeing some stress from too much water out there.. and feeling it in here
Victor, how wonderful to know of couples archiving that length of marital togetherness.
Thanks, ladies. Yes, it is very special, Maria. We are blessed to be able to celebrate it.
Victor, What I nice thing to celebrate. Have fun at the party.
I had blue sky today and actually moved to a shaded area when I got too hot in the sun weeding. I got a fair amount done, but am now done for the day. I got a blister. DH is still out there slogging through a nasty patch of nut grass. Patti
Victor please give your parents my best! What a wonderful milestone to be able to celebrate.
Thank you, Celeste. I will. We hit 18 on Tuesday.
Victor, I was 36 when we celebrated our 18th, oh how young we were but it did almost last to the 59th. Hope you will celebrate too.
That's great, Maria. We certainly will celebrate.
congrat's to your folks victor
great day here sun all day - rebuilt the wall around the white birch by the "great wall" did about half of it - damaged the hydrangea and started to bury the astibles so i stopped and will finish after blooming
It ended up raining about 4pm. Now it's stopped.
It was sunny for a few hours, but then cloudy most of the day---no rain---my son came & dug out many plants in the bed I'm trying to do over---someone stopped in their car while I was digging & said how much she enjoyed my gardens---I was embarrassed with the huge craters everywhere! Your folks were a nice looking couple, Victor---glad you can celebrate with them.
Victor I knew it was close for you...17 years, correct?
Congrats to you & Mrs. ^_^
Thanks. It will be 18. That's about 67 in husband years.
that's all
:)
More in 'wife years', even though you are fond of them.
Victor, congrats to your parents and your anniversaries.
It rained on and off all day today, cold and dreary yuck yuck yuck...if they say in August there's a drought I'll choke them.
56 degrees and back to no sun. Patti
56' here too but raining very hard, seems we cannot have two days of sunshine in a row
Whats with the north east this year? Why are we getting so much rain and cloudy days? I have not been able to sit by my pool or get in it on a sunny day. It is clouds and rain over and over. I cant wait to get to Cancun next week so I can see sunshine. Hec my luck it will rain the whole week.....lol
I went from a flat gray a few min. ago to a lot of quickly moving clouds, but a wee bit brighter. I think we are on the edge of the rain. But I am not inspired to go out at the moment. Patti
Yep, definitely damp. Philly area has had 6 straight days of rain. 66 now going up to 79.
DH is leaving for a canoe trip on the western branch of the Susquehana this afternoon out past Williamsport. The river should have plenty of water. LOL Hopefully they will have nice weather til Wed.
Marie, heading to Cancun? Make sure to bring losts of anti-bacterial hand santitizer.
Yeah, Jan they probably won't even have to paddle.
Woke up to another dreary day. They say it's supposed to clear up, I'll believe it when I see it!
68 and mostly cloudy.
Oh my gosh...is it??? is it what I think it is??? Is that the sun???? OOPS said it too loud, disappeared again.
damp, cold & nothing gets done.
Cool and raining AGAIN. We get teased with warmth and sunshine and then the rain and cool weather returns. I hope we're not in for a repeat of last summer.
Turned nice, so I am heading back out. again. Like a yoyo today. A bit cool and breezy, but ok. Patti
Sun came out went for a walk since I really didn't want to do any work, I just needed to get out of the house. Hubby and son are at the Trenton Thunder game, hopefully Binghamton Mets doing better than their counterparts.
sun is out with still lots of clouds - was able to weed about half the yard, was not too bad
Checked the rain gauge. 3.6 inches since last week.
We had at least 2" last night---no rain today, partly sunny, temps only in the 60s---my garden is so saturated not even the weeds are growing----eggplants & peppers are hopeless!
TV weatherman in Boston announced that we were under rainfall for the month--don't believe them.
How is that even possible???
That weatherman must had on gone on vacation to "Death Valley" and had no clue as he was phoning it in. Patti
no kidding.... well it's raining again... 57 now going up to 74
An hour ago it was bright and sunny, now gray and gloomy. I am in a sweater and heavy fleece pants. I have a old friend coming over mid morning who is going to get a car load of goodies. Like extra iris and anything else I can spare. But I told her that until she shows up, I am not digging out anything. She has called twice to make sure the time is good for me, so I think she is actually coming as planned. In the past I have had too many no shows, after I have dug and labelled divisions and then no one to take them . I always suspected these people thought that I would actually dig them up and then drive them over to their home and replant them as a favor for getting rid of them. It is perfect weather to dig, but I would like some sun. Patti
