I wish I was heading north to Boojums too. She has sun out now, we had a peek of it earlier, now cloudy again. But not raining. My house guest arrive in a half an hour from NY. I hope they get at least some dry weather for the next few days. I planted the last of my plants yesterday. So it would now be nice to get some warm, dry weather. But how many times have I said that? Patti
high haze here and warm - going to take the chance and uncover the wood for tonights blaze and after some planting here head off the mason hollow for a couple hosta's and a hot dog:) then come home and mow the lawn if it has dried out enough
HMMM......... it's raining here. Imagine that 70, going up to 80. Grandkids are coming over soon. Too bad it's rainy. :)
Rain so hard here yesterday that parts of the State recieved 4 inches of rain in 24 hours. My are got 3 and it was pelting everthing in sight. My big yellow Lupine stands no more! Neither does the purple one. More rain today and tomorrow but no more down pours!!

Well, we had some glorious sun at Boojum's--then it clouded---by the time we hit Becket, MA it was raining, & just pouring when we hit CT---now it's just yucky out.
Oh, that's too bad, Marilyn! It has held off up here. I didn't water my new babies thinking it would rain any minute. Probably overnight!!
Victor - I'm thinking about you and your parents on their 50th anniversary!! I hope you've had good weather!!! I was happy to see that they were able to play the US Open down on Long Island. My DBIL and DSIL were having an outside gathering there today.
Started out with rain and cleared out. No gardening done however as I was helping with a horse show for the 4-h kids to qualify to got to the State Fair.
Is 'Alice' safely put to bed? (Equine, people). Weeded & transplanted some iris clumps, also tossed a few of those. Rain predicted for tomorrow, tired of it.
Yes she is, and ready for the show tomorrow. She had today off, hoping for godd weather tomorrow.
well it was supposed to rain here today - it did not and we had the fire under the "tent" i built - and i will have another fire tomorrow to prove it is rain proof if that is what it takes!!
Well we are off to Cancun today. With possiable showers everyday there too. I dont think I have seen such a wet spring and summer ever. Our sump pump in our back yard is working over time .
Last Friday the 19th, I read it has rained 16 days this June and it is raining right now but just a drizzle.

Hi all! Had our parents' 50th party yesterday and it was fantastic. The past week was crazy with end of year school stuff, pool problems and the party. Hopefully I can find time to post a bit more now.
One thing that hasn't changed - the awful weather! 69 and overcast.

So glad the celebration went well, Victor. Jeff and I will have ours on Tuesday. 36 and going strong.
